"Turns out magic does exist and that's all my whole life's about... hmm,"

"What about how to break it..?" I asked Mom.
"This is a journey you must embark on with your other half... the one your heart seeks", mom said.

"Wait, did you say my half?",

"Yeah..",

"I think I know who..",

"Who?",

"Gwen...",

"You love her?", she asked me.
"I don't know... but what I know is that she's my other half...", I replied.

"Maybe I can do it with her...",

"I'll ask Sybil...",

"Sybil I told him everything and he said he has someone his heart beats for..", Mom told Sybil on the phone while we ate lunch.

"Then this is good news", he said.

"But he doesn't know whether he loves her or not.", mom said.

"Love behaves strangely sometimes, for a moment you have a different feeling for someone, the next you dislike the person, but the heart knows what it wants, once it knows this is half, it'll surely not let it go...", he said, I barely heard that part since he talked too much and I focused on my food because the whole day was a story day.

"Okay, prepare everything he has to begin sooner," Mom said.
"Okay.. bye," Sybil said.
"Bye."

"I'm beginning... now?", I asked.
"The sooner you begin the better Gray," Mom said.

"What about Gwen? how'd you convince her mom..?", I asked.

"Leave that to me..."

"Knock knock...?", Mom said and knocked on Mis Helena's door. I watched from my window, barely hearing the words they spoke.
Helena came out after a short time.
"Hey.. hello", Mis Helena greeted her.
"Hey...", Mom continued.

I barely heard them, so just watch the two mumble to themselves and Gwen came out. I think they asked her something and then straight up she went back.

"Mom? How did it go, I watched everything from my window but hardly heard you", I said.
"Oh I just told her mom that you're going on an adventure and you need Gwen to go with," she replied.
"Seriously? Did you say that? and she said yes...", I asked her.
"Yeah... no one refuses me," she said.
"And... why is that?", I asked confused.

"Magic...",

"Back to my question... how do I break the curse?", I asked her.
"You must go to the land of the past... to wield the Dragon's Blade and then FIGHT..", she said.

"Fight!?"

"Yeah fight,"
"Do I even know how to use a sword, more so a dragon whatever, where would I find that too," I asked skeptically.
"Sybil will explain everything to you... right now it's getting late, sleep, for tomorrow is Sunday," she told me.

I agreed to her and went, the pain that I did not fight back pierced me but entree I was tired.
