A/N: We (meaning Tyloast and I) have been hard at work the past couple (however many whatever's) trying to make this Tory the best that it can be. And it won't reach it's full potential if it stays as just mine. That's where Grey (you stupid (non)brit brit) comes in. (For some reason I think this chapter had been published and yet it was unfinished and a shitshow, so to those poor 34 souls who did I hope you came back, and I am very sorry.)
Lots and lots of love
~lex (and grey) :)Percy
Stepping into Jason and Piper's apartment, Percy couldn't help but feel as though he wasn't leaving for a while.
"Thanks, Jase," Percy called over his shoulder, plopping a bag down on the floor.
Piper strolled in, running a rag against her knife, cleaning it. Not that she was threatening him or anything like that. That would be inconceivable.
"So, how was she?" Piper didn't stop meddling with her knife as she spoke.
"Who?" Percy felt as though he missed something.
"Your whore."
"She—"
"Don't answer that." Jason put a hand on Percy's shoulder, as if he were his lawyer.
"Answer the question. I heard you wanted to talk about it, so let's talk about it!" Piper pushed on.
"She was different!"
"Dude—" Jason pinched his nose, "Piper, go to the bedroom."
Piper stuck her knife in the table on her way out. Jason pulled it out and placed it down gently.
"Are you okay?" Jason asked.
"Y—yeah."
"We have the couch set up for you. Sorry it's not a pull-out, but you did sleep with someone who wasn't Annabeth."
"You, too?"
"Dude, when you were missing, back when we got switched," he paused for a second, collecting his thoughts, "she never stopped looking. She didn't stray, and stopped taking care of herself. She..." Jason sighed. "She never gave up on you."
"What's the point of this, Jason?"
"I just don't understand what could have happened that made you leave."
"I get it, Jason. I fucked up. Believe me. I know I fucked up."
"Did you try talking to her?"
"Yes! What else was I supposed to do?"
"Did you apologize?"
"I—I think I did."
"You think you did?" Jason scoffed and shook his head, disbelieving. "You should unpack, I'll call for a pizza. Would that cheer you up, bud?" He was making fun of him, Percy knew.
"I'm not a child, Jason. But yes I want pizza."

Annabeth
Annabeth felt empty. Her apartment unfortunately matched that. Without Percy or his items, she wished he hadn't been so goddamned stupid. She wished she hadn't been so stupid to trust him. Which wasn't all that fair to say, considering all the times he had proven himself to be at least worthy of her friendship. Maybe that's what should have happened. Maybe she was just impressed by his loyalty to the people he cared about. Maybe he wasn't meant to be in love with her, rather just, love her as a person. Nothing more, nothing less. Friendly love. Platonic love-
