At her office, Jennie ended a joint live Yoga session with one of the influential yoga practitioners, Riveria. She chatted with the woman for a while, and sending her off, Jennie entered her office room. Her head brewed in pain, seeing Rosé waiting for her. It's been almost two weeks, Rosé is pestering about Jisoo's condition. ''Rosé, you better confess your feelings to him.''

''If I had the courage, why would I ask your help?'' Rosé yelled as she got up from the chair. ''I hate you, Jennie.'' Rosé left the room before cursing Jennie. If she confessed her feelings to Jisoo, Jeongyeon would come flying to kill her.

''Then better stay single, dingo.'' At first, Jennie thought to help Rosé, but her mind changed after Jisoo vomited everything to Lisa that happened at the restaurant. The next day, Jennie called him and gave left and right, but that milksop was all feigning innocence. No wonder Jeongyeon did not accept that sissy.

After the intense workout session, Jennie got a fresh shower and walked out to talk with Lisa for a while. Just when she entered the lawn around her office, Jennie heard Mandy's voice. ''She doesn't have any work except prying on celebrities.'' As usual, Jennie would ignore her, but her footsteps halted suddenly when she heard Regina's name. After Regina was sent to Mental Asylum, Jennie did not hear much about her. Curiosity piqued in Jennie, and instead of calling Lisa, she eavesdropped into the conversation.

At first, Jennie thought either Regina would have gone to LM or that stupid queen Elinor Catherina putting up with her crocodile tears after getting released from the hospital. But listening to Mandy's conversation with the other person, her hands become icy cold. A sickening wave of terror welled up in her stomach. ''Regina was kidnapped and poisoned to paralyze her organs?'' Jennie whispered, her heart in palpitations. There was only one person she could think of. ''No, he wouldn't do that. He doesn't go to such an extent, but what about Trent? His condition was worse than her.'' Jennie called Lisa's number, desperate to know if he has a hand in it. Jennie did not care if he was in the meeting or some urgent work, but she repeatedly called his number until he picked up.

''Did something happen, Jennie? I had almost ten missed calls of yours in my inbox.'' Lisa spoke up urgently and opened the laptop to check Jennie's office's CCTV footage. His mobile was in silent mode during the meeting, and right when it ended, Lisa picked up his mobile to call Jennie, but panic and worry grew as he saw the number of missed calls from Jennie.

''Can we meet up for lunch? I want to talk with you regarding one urgent matter. I will text you the restaurant name.''

''Sure. Bring Nick along with you-''

''I can't bug him for all the silly matters. I will be careful.'' Jennie assured him.

''No.'' Lisa refused the idea instantly. ''Let me come to your office and then pick you up.''

''You are as stubborn as a mule, Lisa,'' Jennie added with a sigh. ''Fine. Come and pick me up.'' Jennie doesn't want to talk about this matter with Nick.

Lisa picked her at the office, and until they reached the restaurant, Jennie did not speak a word. The waiter served the food, but Jennie did not touch a single dish.

''What's bothering you, Jennie?'' Stroking her cheek, Lisa calmly asked.

''By any chance, did you do something to Regina?'' Carefully studying his facial expressions, Jennie asked. To her surprise, his face was as calm as water.

''Why do you ask?'' Lisa quizzed. The last time he heard about Regina was when he was in Maine. With the busy office schedule, he had not had the time to talk about that woman.

''I heard she was beaten and poisoned to paralyze her body organs. Was it your doing?'' Jennie tapped her footstep, silently praying that Lisa shouldn't have a hand on it. She doesn't want Lisa to taint his hands with sin unnecessarily.
