Charlies pov:

I got out of bed and yawned, put my slippers on carefully then quietly went down the stairs; since most of my family was asleep other than my sister who could be annoying at times but I still loved her anyways
I pored warm water in my mug then put a tea bag in and you know I made a tea, I don't need to go into detail about that.
But anyways. I got a text and it was from Y/n-

Y/n: Hey I miss hanging with you char! I hope soon we can have a proper day together because I miss it so much and I wish it could happen more often :( mabye we could organise something? And please don't invite that Nick guy,

Charlie:yes I do miss you and hanging around with you, your my best friend and you always will be and I hope you know that! But the thing is I really like nick, he's kind and generous, he donates to charity and he really cheers me up, I'm not saying I'm not gonna stop hanging around with u but it's about time I made some other friends, mabye its time you did to, you might even find Nick to be a lovely guy, and ur friend too, anyways cya at school I'm about 30 mins :D

I had to tell Y/n the truth seeing as though {pronoun} had been my best friend since year 3, I think that it was great how Y/n has seen everything I had been through, being Gay... it isn't exactly easy, Y/n is always there to support me, even through the bad times! But then... I met Nick and you know, he kind of gave me de ja vu from how nick was just like Y/n and I quite liked that, from the first day I knew I could trust him, aswell as that, he always looks out for me, just like Y/n does, which is why I like hanging about with him, Even though sometimes, it can be hard for Y/n to see, I know he doesn't like Nick but i want {prounoun} to get along with him and get to know him, just like I do!

Anyways I left the house and slammed the door, I was running late for the bus so I had to run for the bus stop, I live 1 hour 30 mins away of a walk so taking the bus, that is pretty much the only option I have
But as I was running I noticed the bus was there and It was just leaving..... ...
.. ... ... ... ...
I guess I'd have to walk to school today... my Mum can't drive and my dad... he's to busy providing for my family so... detention it was for me
I hate detention :( anyways ice gotta do what I gotta do...
If I was to go back home now then my mum would go crazy at me anyways so it was generally a loose loose situation

*the school day finishes*
Y/n: I've got detention today...
I replied: So do I
Y/n:Wanna come with me then?
Tjen he walked off and I followed...
Atheist I had a friend to go to detention with... it won't be as boring as it usually is now I guess...
Still though ill probably get in trouble...

Y/n:Hey... wanna hang out after detention?
I replied: no sorry I'm hanging with nick today... You can come if you like?
Y/n: Erh hey no thanks... I have alot of homework to catch up on anyways...
Then I nodded and started writing lines... my hand was really aching at this point...
And then... it was over..
I was so excited to see nick... we were going park together so the second detention bell rang to say it had finished I jumped out of my seat and ran outta class...
