CRAIG'S POV
the first thing we had to do before we headed back was obviously take tweek somewhere to wash himself off of the condiments, so that's what we did.
we snuck him through the gated pool community where the showers were and let him wash all that filth off.
he finally came out after cleaning himself with clean clothes (that he brought since he initially thought he would be staying the night....) looking fresh and brand new.
"n-no longer s-smelling like a m-mcdonald's?" he jokes as soon as he walked out.
i playfully think about it for a second, "mmmm no you're smelling like a car dealership now."
his face breaks into his contagious smile that i know and love, "why i-is it so h-hard for you to j-just tell me i s-smell nice?!"
"because that's boring," i simply say shrugging, "even though i love boring things...i like to say unusual things just to make you smile."
his cheeks began to look a little rosy at that comment and he quickly looks down at his feet nervously, "i-i well—"
"enough flirting! c'mon we gotta hit the damn road," tolkien yells and i once again turned to him with my "i'm gonna kill you" expression.
we all drove back to the coffee shop where tweak's coffee truck was so tweek can properly take it back to south park, "w-well here's m-me. i'll just f-follow you, tolkien."
"i'm going with you," i perk up and look around the car to see everyone smirking as if they knew i was gonna do that, "he's gonna be lonely by himself!"
"we didn't say anything," nichole giggles with red who says, "just go already!"
i just rolled my eyes and hopped out the car, following tweek to the coffee truck.
as i sat in the truck, the aroma of tweak's coffee filled my nostrils and it...made me so emotional.
being in the coffee shop together when we first met, as we got together, and now as we're broken up.
if it's one thing that's been consistent, it's this damn coffee smell.
and i couldn't help myself, i started to cry.
tweek was too busy putting on his seat belt and messing with the radio to notice initially and when he does it's like he stopped breathing for a split second, "w-what's wrong?!"
i just sniffled and looked at him with a weak smile, "i miss you so fucking much."
he just looks at me and his eyes started to look a little glossy, "i miss you too."
i wiped my tears, "we're saying this as we're sitting like two feet from each other."
tweek laughs, "w-we're still n-not in tune w-with each other t-though."
i looked down at my fingers, "we're not."
tweek just sighs and says, "w-we'll be in t-tune soon though, i know i-it."
i looked up at him seeing a genuine smile on his face, like he's serious about this.
i reached my hand out for him to take, "we will?"
he takes it with no hesitation and just nods.
i squeezed it just for good assurance and once again breathed in the nostalgic coffee smell, "people say onions make you cry but tweak bros. coffee makes my eyes run waterfalls."
tweek laughs so hard at that, telling me just how dumb i am.
we both totally forgot about tolkien, red, and nichole also waiting in the other car for us so we both turned around just to see them already staring with big ass smiles on their faces.
