As I discussed earlier, I have been natural my whole life, so I cannot relate to having a relaxer or transitioning, but I did undergo a big chop once I took my locs out. Once I was ready to grow my hair out I was a lost puppy dog who was ingesting way too much information. The first thing I mastered though was loving my hair. I did not long to have curls like anyone else. I appreciated my coils that could appear and be defined as a curly girl but once frizzed could appear kinky. Coily hair offers much versatility and beauty that I feel truly blessed and happy to have this hair on my head. Before you can follow anyone of these tips, you HAVE to love your hair! Your beautiful and with the proper love and care you hair can be beautiful too!
