Okay. So for all who have read , voted, and commented sweet things on my story, Thanks A Bunch!
It's been a whole year since I have added anything to this handbook. And I don't have much else to add, but I wanted to speak on the importance of keeping it simple. The best thing you can do for you hair and your sanity, haha, is to find a a routine that works and stick to it. For example, I am a lazier( hehe) natural and I don't want to twist my hair up every night or even once. I like to wash it, moisturize it, and jet. For another natural girl, twist outs may be her go to style that keeps her life simple and keeps her happy with her hair. In learning to keep it simple, we have to learn to love the hair that we have. Before I wrote this handbook, I spent endless hours watching YouTube videos obsessing over what exactly to do and how to get it to look like someone else's. Now I have learned that our beautiful curls, coils, and kinks are here to be experimented with worn big, wild, or straight. While on a journey of figuring out and taking care of your hair, also enjoy your hair, and don't let anybody ever tell you your hair is not beautiful!
