Enough was enough, Gerard decided.

Today he was gonna talk to Mikey. He was gonna find out what the hell was up with his little brother and his weird Mystery Boyfriend.

His mom was passed out on the couch when he got home, and Mikey was in his room, probably playing his stupid Nintendo. Gerard put the cereal on the counter and made a bowl of Lucky Charms. He brought it upstairs, taking a deep breath before opening the door. Mikey was thankfully alone, and he laid on his stomach on his bed playing Mario, as guessed. His little Yoshi ran across the screen and Mikey's face was scrunched up in concentration, his glasses resting precariously at the end of his nose. Gerard walked in front of the TV and put his arms out, blocking the screen from view. Mikey didn't hit pause fast enough and the death sound rang out across the room.

"What the hell?!"

"What's his name?"

"None of your business," Mikey said, trying to lean around Gerard to see the screen. Gerard leaned over and unplugged the controller (they had one of those really old consoles; it was their dad's).

"What the hell?!" Mikey whined again. Fucking 13-year-olds.

Gerard walked over to him and handed him the bowl of Lucky Charms. Mikey looked down into them and wrinkled his nose. "They're all soggy."

"Just shut up," Gerard shot. His patience was wearing thin. "Who was the boy, Mikey?"

Mikey, shoveling Lucky Charms in his mouth, smartly said, "I thought you wanted me to shut up." Wiseass.

Gerard groaned loudly in frustration, stood up, and shut the door, leaving Mikey grinning behind him. He heard Mario begin a second later.

"Fucking Christ," he mumbled to himself.

He'd get answers out of Mikey soon enough.
