Five Stars

It's already night.

Our kids is sleeping na sa kwarto nila.

We are now laying in bed, looking at the sky.

Nakayakap siya sa'kin.

"Look love, the sky is so beautiful like you." He said.

Hinampas ko siya ng bahagya kaya tinawanan niya 'ko.

"Why?, it's true kaya." He said.

"1...2..3...4...ohh 4 stars?." He's counting like a kid.

"No, it's five." I said.

"What?, where?." He asked.

"'yun oh." And i point it out.

"Ohhh, five stars." He said...and i remember myself in California looking at the five stars and thinking it was our family.

"you know...when we are there in California?." I'm talking.

"hmm?."

"In a sky full of stars there, i think saw you...I mean i'm thinking of you." I said.

"I know right, sino ba namang hindi magiisip sa'kin." He smirk.

Haynako.

"Just kidding." Habol niya dahil naiirita na 'ko.

"...But i'm so thankful, thank you for taking care of yourself...While i'm not beside you and no one will do it for you like me." I said and he tights his hugs.

"Iba pa rin, pag ikaw." He said.

"Thank you love, dahil sumama na ulit kayo sa'kin." His voice.

"Thank you for giving me a second chance...to prove myself and ofcourse para makabawi sa mga anak na'tin, specially to you."

I can't find the words to say, i'm speechless.

"Stop thanking me." I replied.

He looks at me and he give me a soft kiss.

"Good night love." He whispered.

We was about to sleep, Nang mag-kaliwanag ang kwarto namin dahil sa pagbukas ng pinto.

Greggy stood up immediately.

Napatayo din ako sa kama ng sabihin niyang si Callie 'yon.

"Callie?, baby?..What's wrong?." He asked and Callie walks.

"D-daddy i can't sleep." Callie said while wiping her eyes.

"Ohh, you can't sleep po?. Come here anak." Sabi ko agad.

Binuhat ko sa Callie para pumwesto sa kama namin, ginitna namin siya ni Greggy.

"Mommy.." She called me.

"baby?." I asked.

"Pupunta po ba bukas here sila tita?." She asked innocently

"i don't know po e, but we can told her po if you want." sabi ko at tumapat sa kaniya.

"yes i want mommy." She said.

"Okay, so sleep na paggising mo andito na sila tita." Sabi ko at hinalikan siya sa noo.

"Good night mommy, Good night daddy." She said, so cute.

"Good night my love." Greggy said and he kissed Callie in her cheeks.

I thought she's going to sleep na pero nagsalita siya, sobrang kulit din talaga nito habang nalaki.

"Daddy...Sa'n po 'yung para kay mommy?." She asked.
