As if sensing my presence, the vampire whipped his head up and stared at me with those cold, unforgiving, blood-red eyes. I took a few chary steps towards the hooded creature, but with every step I took, he took two steps back. It was like an exasperating game of tag. Then with a thud, his back hit a Cyprus tree and he seemed to realize that he was trapped. In a bout of desperation, he ran past me at speeds of approximately 200 mp/h. This threw me off my feet and I crashed into a boulder. Spots of darkness danced across my eyes, but I fought to keep my consciousness present.

"Goddamn it", I whisper-yelled at no one in particular.

At least I had gotten a piece of his shirt while he fled. Now all I needed to do was find a strong enough tracking spell because most spells that I know are too weak and will bounce off another supernatural creature.

There is one place where I can get it. Though the complication is that I am not allowed in there. Thus, I will have to break in.

I will have to break into my father Mystic's Bibliotheca
