AT THE SAME DAY

Author's pov :

Since the weather was freezing cold, jungkook decided to go inside first, and ask questions later..

They both were inside the cabin, as in jungkook's office .

The captain sat on his rolling chair , opening a file and started twirling the pen between his fingers.

Taehyung followed him inside and stood in front of his huge mahogany wood desk ..

A deep, rich, full bodied exotic wood scent, with a touch of spice filled  his nose..

He knew that aroma very well, how can he forget?

Tae couldn't help but gape at the interior of his office , it was huge no wonder ... the army building may look creepy from outside but damn .

When their eyes met , a deep shade of red hue dusted the Bambi eyed male.

Jungkook stared at taehyung cocking his one eyebrow up, as if waiting for him to start explaining.

"Kook- I— I m..."
He stuttered

"Doctor kim, I m now jeon jungkook. And since you are in my unit , pls address me as sir"

Jungkook replied, his voice filled with authority and power.

Tae's eyes saddened as he let out a sigh.

"I m sorry.....sir.
So, I m a medic instructor in your unit now..?"

"Yes we lost two really good medics in our last mission unfortunately, so we need a new instructor to teach our new team"

"Then I m at your service sir."

LATER THAT NIGHT

LOCATION: Bachelor officer headquarters

It was late at night, both of them still couldn't sleep..

I mean how could they? When the person they still love the most is literally in the next room .

When they first saw each other at the ground , their eyes held some strong emotion, longing, longing to be each other's arms, longing to feel each other, longing to touch each other, longing to just be with each other...

But sadly , they are at duty , this is not their city life where they can fool around and be carefree...

No, they had a duty to fulfill and people to protect !

Two  hearts longed in silence....

Taehyung's pov

I laid down on my bed exhausted, I finished taking out my clothes and other things to keep them in place, it took a lot of time to adjust.

I took a long shower and went to sleep, not really though.

My mind couldn't sleep actually, I couldn't help but let myself wander in my  thoughts...

He's changed so much...

Everything about him seems to the same but still different at the same time,

It's as if I m seeing the same person, just with a better version, a mature version.

And his body damn, is he working out ?

I mean yes he still had a nice body when we were together but now it's more hard..

Those muscles have become more visible to naked eye, the soft jawline which he once had become a slick one..

Those bunny cheeks have become more prominent..

And those eyes...

Those deep charcoal eyes, which I loved to stare at ... which once held so much love for me are now emotionless, sharp, Pitch black...

"I can't understand....

Jungkook's pov

The pleasing sound of clinking chains, my knuckles hitting the punching bag , the scrapes of blood on my hand gave me satisfaction..

There's been a lot in my mind , I had been replaying our conversation from before and it was now getting frustrating

only one thing can make me feel better,

Boxing..

I was literally dripped in sweat , my once dry black vest was now all wet as if I ran a marathon ..

He's become more beautiful than he was three years ago...

His big doe eyes which I use drown in has become much more pretty..

His curves those damn curved that always drive me crazy just how they use to

Those pink plump lips ...
I still remember how they tasted..

*sigh*

I won't be able feel all these again..

I shouldn't be thinking about him, he's not mine...

He was never mine...

I can't help but whisper , "

...........what happened to us?"
