Peggy Carter

Following Daisy and Director Fury step out of the room, her attention is turned towards deputy director Hill who is left behind. Going over what they have been told so far, and something clicks.

“Director Fury said Skye.”

Peggy points out and from the corners of her eyes, she can see how the rest of her team have turned their attention towards Maria. The confused look in the other woman’s eyes surprise Peggy.

“Yeah, that’s her name.”

Maria answers before growing serious once more.

“Why, what name has she told you?”

She asks, looking at each one of them in turn. Seeing how Maria has taken on a serious look, Peggy crosses her arms and seeing how Natasha has placed herself  beside her.

“Her name is Daisy Johnson.”

Peggy informs, her eyes narrowed. She can see how the rest of the team is rising from where they have been sitting to join her and Natasha.

When Pepper suddenly steps in between her, the team and Maria. Seeing how the CEO of Stark industry looks at them with a warning in her eyes, Peggy calms down.

“At least that’s the name she gave us, but after the few things we have learned today and the fact that it usually take time for her to react to the name, I guess she just recently found it.”

Peggy starts to explain, figuring that it’s the best place to begin the explanation and with a nod from Maria it’s clear it was a good explanation.

“She used to go by the name of Skye. What we have found out, it’s a name she picked for herself. The orphanage she spent most of her childhood in gave her the name Mary-Sue Poots.”

A snort can be heard at the sound of the name, turning her head, Peggy can see how Tony is trying to keep from laughing. Which doesn’t surprise her, his father would do the same thing.

“I can see why she decided to change her name.”

Clint comments and heads are nodding at this. With a shake of her own, Peggy starts to think once more.

“Fury mention training her, do you happen to know what she is able to do already?”

She asks, in a try to get things back on track once more. She can however hear Clint and Tony talk about what names they would give themselves if they had ended up with a name like Daisy's.

“She’s one of the best hackers S.H.I.E.L.D has seen in a very long time. And yes Stark, that includes you too.”

Maria starts to explain, only to hold up her hand at the end. With a look over her shoulder, Peggy can see that Tony has turned his attention towards the conversation once more.

“I’m going to test that myself.”

“She somehow managed to hack S.H.I.E.L.D from a van, with what I understood the report right, a laptop she managed to win in a bet. And using free WiFi from the restaurant the van was parked behind.”

Peggy can feel how she blinks a few times, she knows fully well how good Tony is, she has seen him in action a few times. But this was something completely different and turning to look at Tony, she can see that he is just as surprise.

“I don’t think it’s a good idea to let her near your systems.”

Peggy points out, making Tony nod his head. But she can see that he is already thinking about something and she isn’t sure she will like it.

“Anything else we should know?”

Natasha speaks up this time around and Peggy decides that she can worry about Tony thinking later.

“Before she left, she got some basic training in self-defence and weapon handling. I would think highly of the person who was on charge of her training, and it was around three months ago.”

Maria informs them and a chill goes through the room, a chill that Maria seems to realise as her eyes narrows.

“What’s wrong?”

“Daisy just told us that she had been taken and she guessed she was been keeping for a while, she said the days were blurred together. But three months? Poor girl.”

Bruce spoke for everyone and a silence falls once more. Hearing movements from behind, Peggy’s eyes lands on Director Fury. Seeing that Daisy isn’t with him, Peggy turns her attention to Natasha.

“I’ll check on her.”

Natasha informs, making the rest of the group aware that Fury has returned. The moment Natasha has walked out of the room, Peggy decides to take charge once more.

“Who are the people she has been with? Anyone we know about or know their way if training?”

She asks, looking between Maria and Fury. She can see how Maria turns her head to look at her boss and something tells her that Maria is tempted to tell them.

“That information is classified.”

Is the information they are given by Fury. Turning her attention towards Tony, Peggy can see the man is thinking the same thing she is. Once they are alone, he will look it up.

“We will keep in contact on her training.”

Fury adds and Peggy can see how Maria rolls her eyes. His we is more likely to be her work. With a nod of his head, Fury turns for the elevator to signal that they are done. Maria nods her head in a good bye before she follows Fury.

Once the elevator doors close, Peggy turns to her team and she can see that they are all looking serious.

“I’ll go and see what I can dig up on the team she was part of.”

Tony informs and before anyone can try at stop him, he is gone. A few seconds later Natasha enters the room once more, alone.

“Daisy is heading up to her room, said she was tired. She was however holding on to a file so I don’t know how much sleep she is going to get.”

Natasha tells them and Peggy nods her head.

“I’ll take the first watch. I guess I can trust you two to come up with a good plan on training her?”

Peggy asks, her eyes locked on Natasha and Clint, who both nods their heads. Turning her attention towards Bruce, the man already nods his head.

“I will see if I can find my old mediation tapes, and try to figure out what is happening with her and how to help with learning control.”

He answered before she has a chance to ask him. Giving him a smile, she claps her hands to start them all of.

“I’ll make sure there is something that can be warmed if she wakes up.”

Pepper adds right as Peggy is about to head for the floor, they have placed Daisy.

“Thank you, Pepper.”
