Agent Johnson

Peggy Carter POV

Looking after the young woman with powers, Peggy rises once she is out of sight. Shaking her head, she starts to head for the doors herself. She knew it would be hard to convince the girl to sleep, she knows very well that the others in the tower have been trying to get her to sleep. They learned quite early that Daisy is as hard to pressure to sleep as Tony is.

Moving for the stairs, she takes them two at the times, reaching the floor she knows the rest of the team will be spending their day. Reaching the door, hearing that there is more voices than there should be. Pushing the door open, her eyes lands on Director Fury and deputy director Hill. Lifting one eyebrow, Peggy crosses her arms.

“Well, this is a pleasant surprise, what can we do for the two of you today?”

“Where is Johnson?”

Rolling her eyes, Peggy takes one of the armchairs, not even surprised that Fury wouldn’t answer her question directly.

“I sent her to sleep.”

“About time, she look very out of it.”

Tony comments, making Peggy turn her attention towards him, her eyes narrowing slightly.

“And you were able to get her to sleep the other day?”

She asks, making Tony lowering his head. He knows far to well that here is now arguing with her. Happy that Tony has given up, Peggy turns her attention towards Fury and Hill once more.

“We have gone over your reports on Johnson’s training, she’s ready to get her badge.”

Hill starts to explain, shocking at least half of the people in the room.

“This calls for a party!”

Tony calls out, already out of his seat.

“Hang on Stark.”

Peggy orders, her eyes on Fury and Hill.

“You are ready to turn Daisy into a S.H.I.E.L.D agent after two months of training?”

“She had experience from before she was taken, and the things you have been able to do this past 2 month is beyond expectation. She is ready.”

Fury explains, his eyes locked on hers. She’s not fully sure the man in front of her is right, but she has come to learn to trust his gut.

“So, party?”

Tony asks once

“As long as Pepper help you plan it.”

Peggy informs the man child, who celebrates with a fist pump to the air before running out of the room. A collection of heads shaking in the room as Pepper moves to follow Tony. With a deep breath, Peggy rises herself and turns for the doors.

“And where are you going Captain?”

Fury asks, with a deep sigh, Peggy turns her head.

“To make sure that Daisy gets the sleep she needs.”

She informs the man, only to blink a few times when he holds out his hand, or rather, holding out a badge to her.

“Something tells me, that Johnson will take the news about this upgrade better if its coming from either you or Romanoff.”

He explain, which makes Peggy nods her head. The man haven’t seen much of Daisy since the week after she left her room for the first time. But at least he knows what she needs. Reaching out, she takes the badge and Fury turns his attention towards Hill.
