She'd never known pain like it.
The sinking feeling in her stomach.
The ache in her chest.
Her throat tightening.
Her eyes stinging.
Never did she think that the one person who made her feel so good could make her feel so bad.
It was like her whole world came crumbling down and shattered around her with a few simple words.
That was the day she vowed she would never let anyone get close to her again.
She would never give anybody the power to make her feel this way again.
But she knew that if he wanted her back then she would hand him that power back in a heartbeat.
And that was the scariest thing for her.
