𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 6: 𝑪𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝑽𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒐 𝒀/𝑵 𝑽𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒓

"For your reckless behavior, I suspend your authority for one week." General Arthur announced as my eyes widened. "Wha-" I got cut off. "And, you are not allowed to attend any military meetings. You are not also allowed to do anything related to your job and you cannot join any military trainings." he finished as I opened my mouth and sat down in disbelief.

"WHAT!!!" I exclaimed, shocked about what General told me. "Yes," he said, hands relaxed on the table but he was serious. "WHY!?" I added, he sighed. "Because you didn't inform me about your hidden mission. If I knew, we could've made a better plan without involving people who are innocents. Just look of what you have done." General explained as I looked at his computer and saw the cries of the people involved, the amount of blood that I have shed. "But if you knew then our mission wouldn't be successful." I replied back, his eyebrow raising. "And why is that?" he asked. "Because it would have been too obvious that the officials and other scientists are gone and left the underground offices. Plus, we weren't too sure of how many or who were the people in it. And you wouldn't approve the operation." I explained. "But it is not enough reason for you to not inform me!" he said in a commanding tone, I got shocked a bit seeing him like that.

"What the f***," I whispered. "You are now dismissed. You may leave." General Arthur stated as I left the room and banged the door without saluting to him.

I breathed in, readying myself to scream but someone called me. I swiped my phone to accept the call. "Hello?" I asked in an irritated voice. "Woah, what happened?" Audrey asked. "It's none of your business, what do you want?" I asked back. "We are about to eat, what do you want to eat?" she said as I sighed. "Nothing, just eat. I'm going somewhere." I answered, starting to walk. "Where?" she asked as I heard someone scooping with a metal spoon. "Just some area okay?" I answered as she said goodbye and ended the call.

I looked down as I entered the elevator. As the door closes, I rolled my eyes in annoyance. "I saved lives and did our mission successfully and this is the f*** I got?" I said as the elevator dinged. "I should've let Jack pull the pin if this is what I just received. Why bother saving lives." I added as the elevator showed my floor on its screen and open its door. I went out and walked towards a specific door.

I let the scanner identify my fingerprint and face. I then typed the passcode so I can enter. I opened the door and went in, the door automatically closed so I wasn't able to bang it. I took off my shoes and sat on the white sofa, in front of our tv. I then opened my phone and watched some videos.

Minutes passed by and I got hungry, I decided to go to the kitchen and find some readily-made food. "Where the hell are those mozzarella corndogs?" I asked myself and opened the freezer. There it was, lying in the cooly box. I took it and let it sit out to melt some of the ice. I then plugged the air-fryer in and put two corndogs in it. I then opened the fridge and took a soda then proceeded to make the instant ramen I took earlier from the cabinet.

"At least I have food. Where are the others?" I said as I took a bite of the corndog. It was too hot and burned my tongue. "Ouch! That hurt, I'm just trying to eat a freaking corndog! What the hell is up today?" I cried, some tears dwelled up in my eyes. "No authority for one week? Are you kidding me!" I said to myself before taking a sip of the soda.

'Well, if I'm suspended for one week does that mean that I don't have any responsibility for seven days?' I thought and smirked a bit.

"More sleep time for me." I said as I put my dirty dish in the sink, threw my soda in the right bin, took my ramen and went to my room.
