Meanwhile, in the outer limits of the solar system a cruelly elaborate joke was in the making. Two students on a field trip through time set out to play what they considered a mere prank. But unbeknownst to them the two robots they left behind were found by aliens who would have never noticed this little area of space.
And thusly the human race of earth became only race of beings to become extinct by means of a paradox. A paradox that paradoxically left all the human beings born off earth alive eight thousand years later when the time quake destroyed the entire planet. It also killed all the earth born humans everywhere in the same instant.
