"Three days."

Y/N was cuddled up in bed, reading a book as they usually do. They laid on their stomach, kicking their feet around against the soft mattress. Little tripples of rain we're heard from outside. The sky was cloudy, thunder crashing that evening.

Within some time, of course, Malleus was back in his dorm. He entered the bedroom and shut the door behind him. Malleus was holding a tray with rice and steamed vegetables on a white plate etched in little designs of gold. Next to the plate was a bowl filled with noodles and steamed spinach, and a small glass filled almost to the brim with iced water.

He took a seat next to Y/N, his heart beating at their beauty. Malleus gently pat their back, "Darling.. I know you haven't been eating.. I know why as well, but that's- Mm.." He remembered the first time he fed them, leaving and hearing the sound of the tray crashing to the ground. He wanted them to trust him, not fear him..

"I didn't do anything to the food like I had the last few times, I was only desperate for your affection. Please just.. Could you let me feed you this one time, love?"

Y/N closed their book and sat up, looking over at Malleus. "I-I'm not really hungry.. B-But I appreciate the offer given-"

Malleus grew a bit frustrated, they needed to eat. It's been almost 7 weeks since they had eaten almost anything. He finally sighed and sat the tray next to him, reaching over for his beloved Y/N. He sat them on his lap, holding them close to his chest.

Y/N's brows began to furrow. They knew this would've happened, they just want to go home after all this time..

Malleus whispered gently into their ear, "Please.. You don't have to eat all of it.. Just a little is all.."

Y/N thought, before finally nodding in response. A gentle smile sprouted along Malleus's expression. He reached over for some silverware and picked up some rice with the spoon. Malleus slowly began to feed Y/N, making sure they swallowed every piece given. Y/N kept the same sad expression as they ate, their body trembling as he slid his hand down their waist along the process.

Though it was slow, Y/N did manage to eat all the food provided by Malleus. Feeling full afterwards, and sleepy, Malleus laid Y/N down for some shut eye as he held them close.

Only three more days, then Y/N would be safe in his arms once and for all, permanently...
