No one's pov
It's been a day since y/n saw her mother.
She doesn't know if she's dead. Or if she's alive, no one would tell her. Not even techno..
Y/n has been stuck in her room. Not eating. Not drinking. Not sleeping.
She doesn't want to talk to anyone. Not even techno.
Techno has been getting really worried about y/n and tried so many things to help y/n get out of her room. But nothing worked.
They haven't worked on the case since that day. They only have a week left to solve it and they haven't gotten anything.
One time when techno was cleaning the dishes he saw a box on the counter.
So he opened it suspiciously.
He found
" a key?"
Techno was confused on how their was a key. Their was no keys but the front door key-
So this didn't make sense on why their was another key.
But then he noticed that they rooms have a hole that might fit a key.
So he tried his room first.
Nothing happened
" maybe it's y/n room key?-"
Techno said under his breath.
As he was walking towards her room he heard a knock at the front door.
He didn't open it tho nor pay attention to the sound.
He was gonna try the key on y/ns door but he heard a knock again.
" mm..."
Techno took out his 10mm and pointed it at the front door as he started to walk towards it slowly.
* knock*
He kept hearing knocks as he got closer.
When he finally got to the front door he opened it and pointed the gun in front of him.
No one was there.
As techno was about to close the door he heard something.
* meow*
Techno looked down and saw a black cat with something in its mouth.
" It's just you.."
Techno said as he placed his gun away and got to the cat.
" hi little one.."
Techno said as he started to pet the cat.
" okay don't bite me.. im just gonna.."
Techno whispered as he carefully took the object out of the cats mouth.
As techno looked as the object he was a bit shocked.
" there's no way.."
He said as he stood back up and looked at the cat.
" how did you.."
Techno couldn't even finish his sentence cuz the cat walked pass him and into the bnb.
As techno closed the door he walked over to the black cat.
The cat looked at least 6 years old.
It had blue eyes

" your a bit different huh?"
Techno asked as he started to pet the cat again.
TIMESKIP-
" where did I place the key?-"
Techno asked himself as he looked everywhere.
* meow*
I looked up to find the cat sitting infront of y/ns room.
Of course the door was locked.
*sighs*
Techno walked over to the cat and sat next to it having his back towards y/n's door.
"Y/n.."
Techno said as he waited for a response
" What do you want?.."
( y/n also was sitting down on the floor and having her back towards the door-)
" I have a question"
Techno asked as he looked at the cat.
" what?."
Y/n asked threw the door.
"Do you..trust me?"
Techno asked.
There was silence for what seemed like awhile.
Unitl y/n opened the door.
" idk.. maybe"
She said as they both made eye contact.
Y/n looked like a mess
" have you been crying?"
Techno asked as he stood up holding the cat in his arms.
" What? No"
Y/n said. But Techno knew she was lying.
So he placed the cat down and looked at y/n.
" are you sure?".he asked her.
" um well you see- um-"
Y/n was cut off by techno hugging her
" It's okay to cry.. it's normal"
He said as he felt y/n's Arms around his back.
" okay.. well maybe I was crying.."
Techno could hear y/n say.
" well maybe we can cry together.."
