·˚ ༘ ➳〔how does time really work for us?〕 ࿐ ࿔:🖇

Time is relative, isn't it? Or, if it isn't, that means us humans don't actually know what time is or how it really works.

Oh, we pretend. We pretend very well. You see, we find it so easy to say "you are late", "you are early" or "I'll stay by your side forever". We lie, words dripping from our tongues sweet as honey, none of us being aware that the sweetness of honey can also hide poison. How foolish are those who think they can estimate or control time... Even more foolish those that believe. Those that believe someone would stick around them forever. Those that let the honey embrace their body and cover their eyes and ears until all you can hear and see is that one promise. Blindly they'd stretch their hands towards emptiness. "He left me when I needed him the most, but maybe he didn't know. If he knew, he wouldn't. He said forever." "She can't be dead. She said we had time."

So I guess that separates people into two distinctive categories: the ones that promise time they don't have and the ones that give their time away for a fantasy.
