I kinda realized I'm getting off track with writing Fathoms Below, so this is to make sure I stay on track. I made Ariel's Secret Grotto Cake again today, and I'll start this log with some notes. In the Fathoms Below Universe, this is a cake Urian would often make for his wife, Bahiyya-Nitya Amahle. For context, Urian was murdered by a human (no spoilers) and Nitya was his wife, and she murdered the human in question to protect her people, as she was the queen of the sea before King Triton. The humans and merpeople saw their corpses and blindly assumed the other was at fault and war broke out. Remorseful, ashamed, and grief-stricken, Nitya went into hiding. So the humans and merfolk hated each other long before King Triton became prejudiced against humanity for killing his wife, Queen Athena. Also, the god Triton from Percy Jackson and King Triton from The Little Mermaid are the same person in this series. Also, fuck Rick Riordan.
