Third Person's POV
"Alethea, we are going to a ball. Nii-san and Louis will be there too." Sabi ni William habang umiinom ng tea habang ang kaniyang asawa ay nakaupo sa tapat niya.
"Hmm, is Asteria and Jiale coming?"
Tumango naman si William.
"Well then, I need to prepare our clothes." Sabi ni Alethea at tumayo.
Pero bago pa man siya makaakyat sa kwarto ay nagsalita ulit si William.
"There are two of them. Mr. Enders and Mr. Milverton."
His wife undertood.
"Wakatta," She replied and headed to their room.
Later around 7 pm, William and Alethea head to the ball. It is located in Mr. Milverton's residence.
Lahat ng mga mayayaman ang imbitado sa ball. Albert and the rest are already there.
"Nee-san, you're here." Bati ni Jiale kay Alethea. Lumapit din si Asteria at bineso ni Alethea ang dalawa.
"Is everything doing good?" Tanong ni Albert tsaka naman tumango si William.
"Hai, nii-san. All is well."
Since hindi naman ito masquerade ball, kitang-kita ng lahat kung sino ang dumalo dito.
Alethea is wearing a red ball gown that matches William's red tie. Asteria is also wearing green ball gown since it matches with Albert's green tie. And lastly, Louis is wearing blue tie that matches with Jiale's blue ball gown.
"Everyone! We will be playing a game called Hide-and-Seek. I hope everyone will participate." Nakatayo si Mr. Enders sa may stage habang nagsasalita.
"Simple lang ang larong ito. Mr. Milverton have prepared his home for everyone to have a spot to hide. Kapag nahuli kayo, you lose. And if you win, you will receive prices. Is that okay with everyone?"
Sumang-ayon naman ang mga tao.
"And since we are playing in Mr. Milverton's house, I volunteer myself to be the seeker. I will give you 20 seconds to hide and the game will start after the counting."
Everyone murmured to each other kung saan sila pwede makatago. But the Moriarty's are staying calm as they always are.
Nagsimula na ang counting at nagsitakbuhan na ang mga tao para magtago.
Nahiwalay sila Alethea sa mga boys at nagtago sila sa isang silid kung saan akala nila ay walang tao pero nang makapasok na silang tatlo sa loob, may tatlo pang tao na nauna nang pumasok dito.
"Oh, it's nice to have you here ladies." Sabi ng isa na pasimpleng nakaupo sa couch.
Alethea smiled. But not a smile from a good person. It's a smile that you don't ever want to see.
"Ma ma, can we stay here for a moment my lord?" Alethea said.
Ngumiti naman ang isang lalaki na naka brown suit.
"Of course, dear."
Asteria and Jiale rolled their eyes na tila naririndian sila sa boses nung lalaki.
"I'm Anthony, by the way." Sabi nung lalaki sa couch.
"My name's Paul, if you want to know my lady." Sabi nung naka brown suit.
"At ako naman si Dion." Sabi nung isa pa na nakablue suit.
"Assholes," Bulong ni Asteria.
"We didn't ask." Bulong rin ni Jiale.
