This is only a short story that have different ending from the last chapter. Itong chapter na to ang imaginary scenario ng ending sa series.
"Jiale bakit hindi ka pa natutulog?" Tanong ni Louis.
"Oh..uhm..I just wanted to be awake for a while love." Sagot ni Jiale sa kaniya.
"Souka..but it's already late.." Nag-aalala na sabi ni Louis.
"Don't worry love, matutulog din ako agad."
Hinalikan nalang ni Louis si Jiale sa noo bago bumaba at pumunta sa kusina.
"Oh Louise? Bakit gising ka pa?" Tanong ni William na umiinom ng gatas.
"Ahh, kukuha lang ako ng tubig nii-san. Tsaka hindi pa natutulog si Jiale kaya hindi rin muna ako matutulog."
"Ooh, I see." Tumango si William.
Bumaba rin sina Asteria at Albert galing sa kwarto nila at pumunta sa kusina.
"Louis, gising pa ba si Jiale?" Tanong ni Asteria.
"Yes, nee-san. Tawagin ko lang siya." Umakyat ulit si Louis para kunin si Jiale sa taas.
"William, nasaan si Alethea?" Tanong ni Asteria kay William.
"She's in the room, bababa din siya dito." Sagot ni William.
Nakababa na sila Jiale at Louis at sumabay rin sakanila si Alethea na bumaba.
"I forgot to tell you, I made a cake earlier." Wika ni Asteria.
"Really? Can we see it?" Tanong ni Albert.
"Of course, but you can't eat yet okay?" Pagbabanta ni Asteria kaya napatawa naman sila Albert.
"Hai hai, we won't eat." Pag assure ni Albert.
Nagtaka naman sina William at Alethea kung bakit gumawa ng cake si Asteria.
"Asteria nee-san, bakit pa pala kayo gising?" Tanong ni Alethea.
Pero hindi makasagot si Asteria.
"Nee-san?" Tanong ulit ni Alethea pero ngumiti lang si Asteria.
"It's time.." Sabi ni Asteria at hinarap ang cake sa kanilang lahat.
"Time for what?" Kunot-noong tanong ni Alethea.
"Alethea and William's...."
"..1st death anniversary...."
Napahikbi agad si Jiale nang makita niya ang nakasulat sa cake na ginawa ni Asteria na 'Our beloved William and Alethea Moriarty 1st death anniversary'.
"Ahh, souka..my darling..it's been a year.." Sabi ni Alethea kay William.
All this time, they were only talking to imaginary William and Alethea. Because the two of them died from the fall on the bridge a year ago.
Napaluhod rin si Asteria nang maalala niya ang mga ala-ala nila kasama si William at Alethea.
The household of Moriarty is not the same without them.
TADA! I told you this is only an imaginary ending hehe.
