the way that you did

I have heard time and time again

"I wish you could see yourself the way that I see you"

But I wonder if I saw myself the way that he sees me

Would I just want to use myself?

Fuck myself and leave?

Would I use myself like a toy and abandon all hope?

Because I saw myself the way that he did

I think so

And that just doesn't sit right with me
