After a long time at the hospital, Shira was put in a wheelchair. The doctor said that she had to stay in the wheelchair because she had cerebral palsy. He also explained that the reason that she lost her memories was a disease called amnesia. She lost her sight and barely heard voices so she won't be able to do anything.. At least she still had her translator on her neck.

"Heeeyy!"

Shira stopped on the block to see an annoying girl waving her arms around. That girl is Manako, Shira's little sister since they were born. Manako had green eyes, straight brownish hair, thirteen years old, and a pink jacket. She has freckles on her cheeks and she has a headband on her head. She is sweet and cute to her sister, that she is much more than a sibling herself. She also had a friend here. A young fourteen year old named Tomoka Hamato. Tomoka is Shira's middle sister.

She was more mature and timid when she was still young. She seems to be the shyest girl in my family. She wore a pretty coat and white Wellington boots on her feet. Her eyes are green and she wore tortoiseshell glasses on her face with short brown hair. Due to her brains and beauty, she was the most popular scientist in New York. They did know each other when they were kids.

"Manako," said Shira, "what are you doing here?"

"We came to see you, big sister," Manako said. She's got an affable smile.

"Seems that you were ok before surgery six years ago. You have lost your voice and paralyzed. Oh, I forgot, those guys place the voice device around your neck," said Tomoka, holding her books and journals.

"How was your long coma going?" Manako asked, tipping her head.

"Perhaps she was captured by the man in the black clothing," a female voice said.

Shira turned around to see another girl sitting on a trash bin. She was wearing some sort of gothic clothing with bone collars on her neck and wrists. A black skirt blended in with her clothes revealing her stomach.

The girl with the sour attitude, whose name is apparently Reika, is one of her sisters. Her figure makes her a goth girl of the street. Since her parents died in a car accident, she had been protecting her sisters ever since.  She was a year younger than Shira, fifteen years old at her age.

"How long until I was gone?" she asked.

"Things aren't looking so good. There are rumors about crimes going around in towns," said Tomoka. "The police are trying to find out who's behind all of this." This was the time they knew. Crime was running rampany and many of the people had been robbed. All of the people in this town is worried. But there is something strange happening here.

"I am pretty sure everything is going to be ok," she said. Tomoka and Manako sure were right. But Reika wasn't sure about it. So they all agreed and went back home.

"Shira must have been gone for a long time," said Tomoka. She was inside her room with her sister. It carried one room for two sisters to live in. There were plenty of books Tomoka always liked, plenty of toy animals, a few makeup boxes, a desktop and a twin bed.

Also there was a little lab beside her desk with lots of steel tools and a little robotic alien. Manako was playing with a bunny rabbit plush with rainbow ears named Mrs. Cuddles. "What makes you say that?" she asked, squeezing her doll.

"It's like we've never seen her since she got surgery. It was six years ago. And when we came to her yesterday for her birthday, she was gone."

She was writing her diary over again telling about her story of her life with her sisters. Tomoka took her book out of her backpack and her pencils away. "Oneechan?" Manako asked, squeezing her toy. "Won't it be long if Shira gets better again?"

"I am sure everything is ok," said Tomoka. "I am sure there is something we can do."

Later that evening, Shira was now in April's apartment. She never believed that her hometown came to this. The last thing she remembered was on the roof with four boys with green skin colored bandanas and shells. But she didn't remember any of it. She won't be able to walk or speak or see but can hear them.

There was a gentle knock on the door. "Hello," a familiar voice spoke. "It's me, Reika. Can I come in?"

"Come on in."

Her younger sister emerged from her door and had something in her hands. A small little box was nested in the palms of her hands. It was colored blue with a pink ribbon on the top tied neatly in a nice pattern. She stepped into her room "So what's going on?"

"Well, I want to say thanks for the other day. You made me protect your sisters. It was nice." Reika looked away from her sister once. Her brown eyes glitter. Shira didn't even see her coming.

The young human looked around for her sister through her blind eyes. Again, Reika is now smiling and continues to speak. "I was thinking about your birthday six years ago. We never get the chance to see you again until you come back with us." Reika took a deep death and looked at the little box. "And this will always bring you good luck."

She paused looking at her box, she smirked and popped the lid open showing her sister a beautiful necklace. It took the shape of a shard of a crystal attached to a piece of silvery string. The color and the texture was purple and was lightened with color. "You're just going to give it to me?" Shira asked.

"Sure It's just something for your birthday," Reika said, smiling at her older sister. Reika slowly put the necklace around her sister's neck. Shira's blind eyes lit up. "I am sure you will like it," Reika said, thoughtfully.

She thanked her sister and Reika exited. She took one final bow before leaving. Reika had shut the door on her. Outside, she can hear locks being set. Shira slowly closed her eyes and could hear the cold wind blow.
