"So, Miya, what's been bothering you?" Asked Kaoru, sipping on a cup of steaming tea.

Miya shrugged.

"Miya?" Kaoru sighed. "I know you well, don't be shy"

Miya nodded. He looked up to Cherry like a father figure, however it seemed weird to talk about Y/n with him.

"Okay. fine" Miya said finally. He picked up the mug filled with green tea Kaoru had prepared for him and wrapped his hands around it, feeling the warmth of the liquid. "Me and Y/n broke up"

Kaoru's eyes widened, but he didn't make a comment.

"But I don't think I wanted it to end this way" Miya continued. "I only agreed because I wanted Y/n to be happy"

"Why did you two end it?"

"Because.." Miya lowered his eyes. "I prioritized someone else over her"

"A girl?"

"Yeah"

 Kaoru eyed him.

"Nothing romantic happened though!" Miya quickly added. "She's just my childhood best friend"

"But you spent more time with her than with Y/n. "

Miya nodded.

"Y/n also came to me to talk about this, you know?"

Miya looked up. "Really?"

"Mhm"

"So how's your relationship with this girl right now?"

Miya paused. "Friends, I guess. She likes me, but I don't have feelings for her romantically. "

"And Y/n didn't like how she acted with you?"

"yeah"

"listen, miya" Kaoru sighed, taking a sip of his tea. "Though personally, I think you should talk to Y/n since I know how close you two were and how much you liked each other, but you really have to think about how important your friend is to you compared to Y/n"

Miya knew he liked Y/n more. He would choose Y/n over Luna any day. But he didn't know how to tell Luna that. He didn't want to hurt her either.

"Y/n is so important to me" Said miya. "More so than Luna"

Kaoru nodded. "Then, why don't you go tell her?"
