SIDDHARTH'S POV

I enter my room to see my wife of mine.

But guess what,she was already asleep on the couch.

Relief for me.

I change my clothes and go into my study and spend the rest of my time there working.

Next morning

I enter my room to see her getting ready.She was undoubtedly beautif-I make my way toward my closet to get ready for the day.

ADHIRA'S POV

Sun rays falling on me wakes me up from my sleep.

I look around the room and don't find him anywhere.

I take a deep breath and then do my morning chores and get ready in a simple red saree.

This is the beginning of the end of your life. Great congratulations!

I make my way downstairs.

"I was coming to call you,toh Chalo" Zaisha bhabhi says

I enter the kitchen with her to see Anjali aunty already there.

"I hope you felt comfortable here, This is your home so don't hesitate for asking anything, "She says to me

I nod to her with a smile even though it doesn't reach my eyes which didn't go unnoticed by them

"I know this and all is sudden, take your time beta. All of us are there for you. And call me ma"She says the last line trying to be strict

"Ji ma, "I say to her with a smile

"Now that's my bacca," she says loving caressing my cheek

"Now we'll leave you to you pehli rasoi"Bhabhi says and then leaves with ma

After pondering for a while on what to make. I settled on Ras malai

I cooked everything and set the table with the help of the maids.

"Wow rose lassi," Shravya says as soon as she comes and goes to take it when,

"Pehle khana, "Ma says to her

(First food)

"yeh bhai ki bhi favorite HAI"She says

(This is also bhai's favorite)

After they finish tasting

"Come here," Dadi says

I go to her

"Aisi swadisht rasmalai Maine apne poore zindagi mein nahi khai hai"She says

(I haven't eaten such tasty ras malai in my whole life) 

She then gives me the shagun.

"Dadi I can't accept these, "I say to her

"Beta it's a ritual, You can't sqy no to it,now come here" Papa calls me

I accept shagun from ma and pa as well.

After breakfast

In the room

I was about to call my assistant doctor to check on how my patients were doing when I feel a gaze on my back.

"We need to talk, come to my study," He says and leaves the room without a glance

I with the help of the maids go towards his study and knock 

"Come in, "He says

"I married you just to save the reputation of my family. Don't even try to poke your nose in my business. I'll divorce you after 6 months" He says

You arrogant ...

It's not like I married you because I'm mesmerized by your handsomeness.I wanted to tell him but chose not to.

I try to control my anger

He hands me over a paper

"This is a contract which states that we will get divorced after 6 months," He says and hands me over the pen

I take and sign it

"Now let's talk about rules

1. Like I said don't poke your nose in my business

2.No one should know about the arrangement made

3. For the world we're husband and wife. So please act

4. If you have an affair as long as it brings no shame to the singhanias continue it"He says

I lost it in the last one

I bend towards him a bit look in the eyes and tell

"I'm Adhira and I'm not you" I then make my way towards the exit

"What do you do, ?"He asks 

I Raise an eyebrow at him to elaborate

"Do you have a job or are you planning on wasting the hard-earned money of Singhanias?"He says

If he was not the namesake husband of mine I would have strangled him to death by now

"What I do is my business which is none of your concern and I don't need a single penny of anyone's, "I say folding my arms

Then turn to leave when I hear him mutter something. The nerve of this guy

I turn back and say

"Has anyone ever told you that you're an arrogant ass?"I say and leave his study

I see the guy from the cafe that day and give him a small smile and go back to my room
