I was getting ready for a charity event to which the family was invited.
I wore a simple gown, and light make-up, and left my hair open
I couldn't help but think about our talk yesterday.
It was the first time we ever talked properly.

SIDDHARTH'S POV
I went to my room to check if she was ready.
I never knew she could ace even Gowns.
She seemed to be in deep thoughts.
I cough to bring her out of her Lala land.
"You need something?"She asks me
"Yea, you see we have an event to attend. Unfortunately, the whole family is invited.You do remember that you need to stand next to me as my wife" I say to her
She narrows her eyes at me
"You're wasting time, "I say to her
She gives me a tight-lipped smile and makes her way toward the door
"Adhira" I called out
Her name sounded perfect
"What now?" she says to me irritatedly
"A list of instructions may be, "I say to her
"Nah, I'm just kidding come here, "I say to her
She gives me this look again but nonetheless walks towards me
"Close your eyes and stand in front of the mirror" I order her
"Why will I listen-"I cut her off
"Haye meri maa khade ho jaa"I say to her and turn her towards the mirror
(For the love of god just stand)
Then I remove the necklace and make her wear it and then ask her to open her eyes.
She stares at it like I don't know what
"If you don't like it you can go and -"She cuts me off
"No, it's beautiful. It's delicate at the same time elegant" She says
"It's nice to know that you have a great choice like me, "I say to her
"You're wrong, If I had a good choice ,I wouldn't be here," She says to me
I couldn't help but roll my eyes
I decide to walk away when,
"You didn't have to," She says
"You're wrong. It's a ritual, I should have given you this long before, if it hadn't been for my business trip. It's not like I wanted to"I say to her shrugging
"Now if you're done admiring it, Let's get going, "I say to her and leave as she follows me.
IN THE CAR
ADHIRA'S POV
Today Mister Bandar decided it would be nice for the driver to drive. So now I was sitting with him.
I stared at the night sky all the way.
After we reached the destination I was about to open the door when,
He holds my hand and inserts a ring
"Why would you do that?"I ask him shocked
"Just take it as another gift" He says and then gets down,opens the door for me and Gives me his hand.
Still shocked I accept his hand and get down.
Suddenly Camera lights and questions attack us
"Sir who is she"
"Sir is she you're girlfriend?"
"Mam, What is your name?"
and many more
I put my head in Siddharth's chest as soon as I do that he hugs me close to him and asks the Bodyguards to make way soon.
After going inside I breathed in relief
"Are you okay?"He asks me
I nod
"We could have taken the other gate if you would have told me," He says
"It's ok, I think it'll just take some time for me to adjust to all this"I answer
He nods and then guides me to the exact venue.
