Euphoric

Being nervous while scanning my closet for the perfect clothes to wear is not me. I'm still in my pink silk robe, and my hair was still damp from my earlier bath. I'm always confident sa mga damit na sinusuot ko pero ngayon nahihirapan ako mag hanap.

In the end, I just pick up the black Celine pantsuit so that I won't need to show some skin when I go down and go to the cafe later.

Knowing Beatrice, she hates it when I'm showing too much skin. I could still perfectly remember how she used her blazer to cover my thighs when we were at a fiesta in Treasure Town.

"Do I look okay?"- I mumbled to myself as I looked at the mirror.

Napabuntong hininga ako dahil grabe talaga ang kaba ko ngayon. Ang dami nadin pumapasok na scenario sa isip ko at karamihan duon ay negative.

Dumako ang mga mata ko sa phone kong nag iingay sa ibabaw ng mesa. Akala ko sya na yung tumatawag pero si Charlotte pala.

"Hey, Louise. Are you busy tonight?"- pambungad na tanong nya nang sagutin ko ang tawag.

"I'm meeting someone——"

"Oh, you have a date?!"- she squealed, which caused me to turn my ear away from my phone.

Minsan talaga para syang si Arabella mag react. Napailing nalang ako at napangiti.

"This.. This is not a date, Charlotte."- I said, lowly, as I played with the tip of my hair.

"Whatever. Have a safe and wonderful night. Love you!"

I sighed and stood up. I picked up my sling bag as I made my way outside of my unit.

I arrive ten minutes late at the specified time at the cafe. It's not my fault though, because I have work loads and I still chose to freshen up myself before I came here so that I wouldn't look haggard.

"Good evening, ma'am!"- the guard greeted me as he opened the door for me.

I just smiled a little and made my way inside. I sucked up some air to lessen my nervousness as my eyes scanned the whole area to spot that familiar face of my lover, but to my dismay, I didn't find her.

Naupo nalang ako at umorder nalang muna ng coffee. Medyo nahihiya pa yung lalaki sa counter habang sinusulat ang order ko kanina. Hindi naman kasi lingid sa kaalaman ko na kilala ako ng mga tao dahil na featured na ako sa T.V noong pinakilala ako bilang first in line heiress ng Spencer's Corp.

As much as I want to keep my profile low key, there are still some people, especially paparazzi, who don't know the word privacy.

I cross my arms after I look at the time on my wristwatch. I'm starting to get annoyed as each second passes by because she's still not here!

Isn't she aware that she should never keep a lady waiting? It's rude. 

Nilubos lubos naman na yata nya ang pag iintay ko. Sumusobra na sya. Nakakainis na.

Pagkatapos kong maubos ang kapeng inorder ko ay tumayo na ako. Dapat siguro hindi nalang ako nag expect na dadating sya.

Paglabas ko ng cafe ay bigla naman bumuhos ang ulan. Napatakip pa ako sa tainga ko dahil sa kulog at kidlat.

I mentally scold myself and stomp my feet on the ground because the distance from the cafe to the building of my condo unit is kind of far. If it's not raining, I can just walk back there like nothing happened.
