I didn't hear of this! I didn't hear of this! I didn't hear of this!

I didn't hear of this scenario!?

"Umm...your highness. Why are you here in my home?"

After asking without being able to hide my surprised expression, the prince tilted his head in displeasure.

"Why? You have become my fiancée. Isn't it natural for me to visit my fiancée's home?"

"F-fiancée!? I am!?"

I instinctively asked back.

I didn't do anything. My father got worried about me when I slept, and I know my mother told me that maybe it was too early for me to have a fiancé.

Is this the game correcting my actions? It's too frightening!

"That's right. From now on, you can claim yourself as my fiancé."

"Ahh...haa. Umm, I'm gonna ask something unrelated but, why me? To be honest, I think I didn't do anything special."

Rather, I think all I had was rude behavior.

When I asked, the prince opened his eyes, and his hair slightly shook as he smiled beautifully.

"You're right. If I must say, it's because you're interesting."

"I am interesting..."

"Yes. Are you dissatisfied?"

What do you mean, interesting! It sounds like a line from a shoujo manga. I was certain that there was no love between Berthia and the prince. Then, this progress is exactly like the game.

Interesting or not, the fact that the prince doesn't like me is no different than the game.

"No. I am honored, your highness."

"Yes. Please take care of me, Bell."

(Note: Okay so, the Japanese pronunciation for Berthia is Be-ru-dia so for her nickname, he calls her Beru. Which is better called Bell in English. It would just sound weird if I just shorten her name to Ber or Berth. Bell is better since it's a common name and an actual nickname.)

'As expected of a love interest' is what I couldn't help but think when the prince called me by a nickname.

(Note: Calling someone by a nickname is intimate in Japan and in other Asian countries too.)

It has been a month since I was selected to be the prince's fiancée. My relationship with him has not developed at all. Every once a week he would visit and we would only talk idly.

It's not something fun, it was just lip service that is small talk. In the beginning, I thought once a week was too often but for the royalties it was normal.

It was the wife's role to support her royal husband, such was impossible to do without a relationship of trust, because of this they would often come to visit. It is also why the males born into royalty are to welcome a fiancée at the age of 10.

Though, it doesn't matter to me since he is destined to be with the heroine.

Seeing the prince 4 times a month, I wasn't thinking about how to deepen our relationship, what I did was think about how beautiful he was that I couldn't help but smile all the time.
