Bonnie
As I swim to the surface and begin to see figures on the beach, I slowly get out of the water and slide onto a rock.
Two figures seemed female, one wore a casual light dull blue dress and the other wore a pink patterned short dress although hard to see the pattern from here.
Four other figures were in armor, out of earshot to the girls. I was closer though, but I was still only hearing things that were loudly said.
The one in the pink dress was pacing while shouting about a 'Cliff' or something.
I let my mind wonder for a second... There were no cliffs in the area maybe someone fell off a waterfall edge or something. I'd have to get closer to hear, maybe they meant a person?
I snapped back to reality.
Remembering I needed to find something to bring back for my siblings. Scurrying along the shoreside into a shady cove and drying off violently. I grabbed the dry clothes that I'd left here for surface reasons.
I spy a pile of brightly colored flowers. About 7 maybe 8 lying there. Whilst collecting them I see some subtle footprints leading to a grand castle in the giant evergreen forest just beyond the beach.
How had I never noticed that it was so close to the cove?
I could just sit and fantasize about how divine and stunning it is on the inside I would die just to have the slightest peek inside.
And before I can even begin reason with myself I'm off...
Following a footprint trail leading straight to the castle.
After a minute or a few of walking in the fancy dress Lilac had stolen two years ago that she gave me after it didn't fit her anymore, it was a black elegant frilled dress. A large pond with smaller ponds around it surrounded the front of the castle, one of the closer ponds was small and well decorated with a few lily pads in the pond.
I heard approaching footsteps and turned around as normally as I could. There were four guards and the two girls on the beach I saw earlier. The guards called to me as the shorter girl in the dull blue dress whispered to the other girl in a dress.
"Make way for the princesses of Obliunia!" A female guard behind the two girls says to me. I quickly move out of the way.
The girl in the pink dress pauses when she walks by me. "I love your dress-" She says before being her sister caught up and bumped her, causing the girl in the pink dress to bump me.
I staggered backwards...
Into the pond.
