GOT7 Bambam and TWICE Minnie first sparked dating rumors in 2017.

K-pop idols facing dating rumors are no longer a new thing. TWICE maknae Minnie is no exception as she has been the subject of such speculations since 2017.

It all came after a photo of her and GOT7 member Bambam went viral on various media platforms. It shows the two of them intimately taking a selfie.

Several theories and discussions among netizens have since surfaced on different sites. This, later on, caused their agency, JYP Entertainment, to release an official statement, according to Kpop Starz.

The publication noted that, while many individuals believed that the image was legitimate, several netizens argued that it was photoshopped. But, the agency that handles TWICE and GOT7 shocked the public upon confirming the legitimacy of the picture.

It reportedly said that the photo of Minnie and Bambam was real, noting that the two K-pop idols were, indeed, the ones in the selfie. However, it emphasized that their artists were mere close friends and co-workers, quashing all the then-circulating dating rumors.

JYP Entertainment also announced that it would take legal actions against individuals who release damaging remarks toward its artists.

About The Alleged Romance Between Two Idols

Despite dismissing the rumors, K-pop onlookers seemingly continued to “connect the dots,” arriving at a conclusion that the TWICE and GOT7 members were in a relationship. Channel-Korea reported that some netizens even recalled a blind item from a while back, believing that the descriptions fitted Minnie.

Several other solo photos of the artists also started to surface, with fans and followers pointing out the signs and clues of a romance between the two

Minnie and Her Ideal Type

Amid all the discussions and theories, though, Minnie, as well as Bambam, has maintained her silence. Accordingly, reports concluded that, technically, the K-pop idol is single, and has not dated any other male idol.

The TWICE member did, however, share her “ideal type” during a radio broadcast. She revealed that she wants someone who is “kind, polite, respect others and playful” as her “future boyfriend,” adding that she also likes a person who love “sport and eating”.
