cobie was asleep, laying on her side, peacefully
well, that was until she got awoken by the sound of her bedroom door creaking and eventually feeling her mattress dip
"mama?" the brunette kept her eyes shut but felt your little hands hold her cheeks
when you didn't get a response you took to kissing all over your mama's face, ultimately causing her eyes and nose to scrunch
"morning, bubba" she rasped and slowly opened her eyes to see you laying down next her in the bed, mirroring her exact position
"why are you in mama's bed, huh?"
"i wan' cuddles" you pouted which only made her peck your lips, innocently, in order to turn said pout into a toothy grin
"you want to cuddle, my baby?" she laughed a little when you didn't answer her but instead nestled your head in the crook of her neck and took a big inhale, inhaling her comforting scent
checking the time "it's only five am, bubba" she sighed and pulled your little legs to wrap around her torso
"what am i going to do with you, huh?" she spoke rhetorically to no-one in particular
"cuddle me" but regardless of her rhetorical manner you answered in the most state-the-obvious tone ever
"of course" the brunette once again pulled you impossibly closer and held your body in her arms
stroking through your hair "my beautiful baby can have all the cuddles they want" she kissed the top of your head and let out a big yawn
"sleep, mama!" you told her, she giggled at the motherly tone in your voice
"alright, alright"
"you sleep too, my darling" you hummed in agreement, taking another big inhale
with that you both closed your eyes and drifted back to sleep, wrapped up in eachother's embrace
