sorry i haven't been updating much recently, i've got a lot of coursework to do for my a-levels

"mama-" you tried to get the attention of your mum

but she cut you off before you could even ask her anything "y/n, i'm working!!" the blonde practically shouted

"oh, okay" you mumbled and exited her office

it wasn't the first time today she had snapped at you for trying to talk to her. of course you understood she was stressed with work but you thought she'd at least spend a few minutes to make you food and talk to you

and all you really wanted to know a few seconds ago was when dinner was seeing as it was already 9 o'clock in the evening and you hadn't eaten since lunch which was at midday

taking initiative you decided on trying to make yourself something to eat

adventuring into the kitchen you decided to not risk burning the house down and annoying your mum even further and just make another sandwich. one for you and possibly one for her

taking your chances you scurried back to her office door. you wanted to know whether she was hungry or not, you thought you could possibly cheer her up with some food

with knocking gently you opened the door. when doing so you jennifer didn't even look up to acknowledge your presence

"mama, do you want some food" you asked quickly, not wanting her interrupt you but she again gave you no notice only running her fingers through her hair obviously frustrated

it began to slightly irritate you that your own mother was ignoring you so you raised your voice slightly

"are you hungry!!?"

but it was like she was in a world of her own, she didn't respond

having enough you walked up to her laptop and practically slammed it shut

you definitely got her attention

"Y/N Y/M/N ANISTON!!" she screeched, standing up "i'm trying to work!!"

the blonde gave you no room to speak she just kept bellowing about how important her work is and how you're distracting her from said 'important work'

"i was hungry"

"oh" she stopped, it honestly looked like she had a system malfunction and crashed, she didn't move, not a single muscle, for a solid few seconds "you haven't eaten?" she asks to which you shake your head

"oh, sweetie" she cooes and waves her hands for you to give her a hug

whilst hugging she starts gently swaying from side to side

"i'm sorry, bubs. i was just stressed and tried to focus on my work but that's no accuse for being a shi- rubbish mum"

before you could say anything back your stomach rumbles, quite loud

"c'mon, bumblebee" she lifts you into her arms and heads to the kitchen, bouncing you up on every step "let's get some food into that tummy"
