the cramps should have been a warning sign but alas you didn't really have a mum to explain to you what might happen around this age and school wasn't really something you attended

so now there you stood staring at the blood patch that was left where you once sat

blood leaked through your pants and sweats

you started panicking thinking something was seriously wrong. no-one had ever taught you the whole concept of a period

the cramps were getting worse so you called the only person you thought wouldn't judge you, she was the closest thing to a mum you had

"TASHA" you screeched and within, what felt like seconds, nat had barged into the room

"what happened?!" she asked, clearly out of breath from getting to your room so fast "is that blood!?" the redhead sounded almost panicked

you whimpered "tasha, help me, my tummy hurts" she rushes over to you, holding your shoulders and checking you over for some sort of injury but her scan comes back with nothing, you didn't have an injury

she was trying to rack her brain for possible reasons for the blood

"is it coming from your ladies parts?" nat cringed at her own words but you nodded nonetheless

"ok, urm.." she scanned the room and starting mentally listing the steps of her plan

"right, sweetheart.. can you hop into the shower for me and leave your clothes in the wash basket? i'll leave you some clothes on the toilet seat" she looked into your watery eyes for confirmation, you once again nodded. she kissed your forehead and turned your body so you were facing the ensuite bathroom door

when she heard the water running she ran straight to wanda's room and knocked continuously

by process of elimination she figured you had started your period and due the fact the red room stripped her of her reproductive organs she did not experience periods at all

"i swear if you knock once more i-" wanda groaned "oh it's you" her expression changed almost instantly as she saw it was in fact nat at her door and not one of the boys trying to annoy her

"hey, wands. have you got any period products?! i think y/n just started hers but i don't really know what to do and i want to help her" the ex- assassin lets out all in one breathe causing the witch to giggle "it's not funny" nat mumbles

"it's okay.. has she leaked anywhere?"

"the bed"

"if you change the sheets, i'll get the products and leave them in the bathroom for her... it's late so we can go out tomorrow and maybe i can teach you both about periods?" wanda suggested as she already started to move

both redheads got to work quickly. nat put a load of washing on that included the bedsheets and your sweats from earlier. wanda left a pad on the toilet seat where your clothes to change into were placed - nat left you one of her hoodies and some different sweats

once finished they met back in your room

"thank you, i appreciate it" tasha confessed

"it's nothing, i can see you care and it's sweet"

a comfortable silence fell until nat broke it with a question "she said it hurt.. can i help her with the pain?" she asked shyly

wanda tried to not aww out loud at nat's form of vulnerability "a hot water bottle, some ibuprofen and tasha cuddles will help" with that she left but not before using her powers to help a filled hot water bottle to float into the room

nat heard the water turn off in the shower so made quick work of getting a glass of water and the ibuprofen and leaving it on your bedside table

putting the pad on took longer then you expected.. you attempted to follow the instructions on the wrapper but the static material kept getting stuck to the hair on your arm, making just that much process harder

you eventually got changed into your new clothes and shuffled back into your room to find nat holding a green hot water bottle and scrolling through netflix

when she was aware of your presence she ushered you into taking the medication and pulled you into the bed next to her... more like on her lap but it was comfy so there were no complaints

she was quick to put y/f/f on and rest the water bottle to your abdomen just like she had seen wanda do herself before. you sighed in relief and turned so you could bury your head in the crook of nat's neck

"thank you, tasha" without realising it sleep overtook you quite quickly with the pain relief

the redhead slowly removed the source of heat and placed it on the floor as quietly as she could and then wrapped her hands around your frame, resting her head on top of yours and inhaling the smell of your coconut shampoo that she too used
