High up, that’s where Luffy was, he was high up somewhere. Watching a scene below him, he saw someone who looked like Zoro and another man who oddly resembled his father, Mihawk. They fought on a destroyed ship that simply bobbed up and down in the endless sea. It looked like pretty bad; Zoro was losing to this man while only used a small knife. A large hook shaped sword unsheathed itself from the raven-haired man's back and sliced a heavy gash into Zoros chest.

Eyes ripped themselves open, Luffy sat up in a panic. Sweat beaded on his forehead causing his black locks to stick to it, his eyes shot around the dim room only illuminated by the moon's gentle glow. There was no sign of the shipwreck, none of the sea, nor any signs of Zoro. Luffy quickly discarded the blanket and tumbled out of the bed onto the floor, he quickly scrambled up for the hallway. He rushed down trying to get the Olders room, he flung open the door in small panic,

“Zoro?!” He whisper-yelled into the dark room,

There was a soft groan from under the covers, and out from underneath popped Zoro like a fresh piece of moss, “Luffy..?” he called, half asleep

The boy seemed to melt with relief, tears welling in his tired eyes as he bit his bottom lip, this seemed to startle Zoro who sat up quickly and went quickly over to Luffy. He carefully wrapped his arms around the noirette, who began to sob into his shoulder

“I-I saw you die a-an and-” Luffy stuttered out only to be hushed Zoro

“Shh, I'm right here, hugging you, not dead” He spoke softly, a rare occurrence, but much needed at the moment.

“C-Can I sleep here? I don’t want you disappearing on me”

Zoro didn’t respond, instead let go of Luffy and guided him to his bed. He climbed under the covers after Luffy, carefully wrapping an arm around his waist.

Luffy had no more nightmares that night.

Zoro woke himself up with a yawn that morning, initially his hand was going to rub the sleep from his eye but instead found it already holding onto something. He looked down to discover Luffy fast asleep, his face buried in his chest, Zoro pulled back a bit to give Luffy room to breathe and discovered dried tear stains from last night. His hand cupped the other cheek gently, while carefully wiping away the stains Luffy’s eyes opened slowly, who seemed to lean into Zoro’s hand.

With a quiet hum, “Morning Zoro” Luffy muttered

Without moment's notice he sprung to life and out of the bed, he went straight to Zoro’s suitcase

“Zoros alright with me taking his shirt, right?”

Not even waiting for an answer he changed into it anyways, not like if Zoro said no he would listen. It was a bit big on him but that didn’t seem to bother Luffy in the slightest, Zoro took this chance to also get changed for the day, he wore a simple black tank top and beige cargo shorts. The two headed out, excuse me, Luffy dragged Zoro out of the room by the hand for breakfast

“Zoro has to get extra so I can eat more!”

The older hummed in response, indicating a yes. When they arrived in the kitchen, their hands did not separate and wouldn’t for most of the rest of the day.
