*Mike pov*

When I got there to the trailer park I start looking for the number 22194. I then finally found it it was a beaten up old trailer that didn't look very sanitary at all but I'm not going to judge.

I went up to the door and kicked it in a rhythm of knocking because I couldn't knock with my hands cuz I was holding Pete with them on my back.
I started waiting for a few minutes and then I did the foot knock again what's taking his parents so long to answer unless they're at work.

I wait for another minute I was about to knock again but then I saw the door open

Mr thelman: yeah who are you what do you want

Ew he smelled like cigarettes and alcohol and it also smells like he'd hasn't even taken a shower in days. His father's smell is revolting but I got to stay nice in order not to piss off his father.. yuck

He was also talking in a sluggish tone like he was drunk
His father was wearing a white tank top and gray sweatpants holding a can of beer and his hair is all over the place like it hasn't been brushed in days

Mike: um yes hello I brought your son home he was falling asleep while walking home so I decided to bring him home

Mr thelman: yeah whatever drop him off in his room. hey I never seen you before you must be one of his stupid emo friends

Mike: his friends are goth and I'm a vamp kid and we're not emo

I'm trying so hard not to snap on him for that fucking emo comment
I started to go into the house there was beer cans scattered everywhere I was trying to avoid the cans so I won't wake Pete with the clanking noise of cans tossing around

I then finally got to Pete's room his room actually looked clean and was gothed out there was some posters of goth bands like the Bauhaus ' Aurelio Voltaire ' Susie and the banshees ' skinny puppy and more I also saw about drawing that he did on his wall. I think that's adorable I love the little bat.

I see Pete's blanket is on the floor at least it will be easier putting the blankets over Pete.

I then gently lay him down on his bed being careful not to wake him up I adjusted him where he wouldn't fall off the bed then I gently grabbed his platform shoes and unzip them from the back I then set the shoes on the floor and grab the blanket and gently put it over Pete

I slowly backed away making sure he was comfortable and asleep and then I walked out of his room closing the door gently all of a sudden there's a quick flash of can being thrown at me
I quickly looked over at the father with my eyes wide open

Mike: umm why was I getting a can thrown at me

I said in a nervous shaky tone kind of scared

Mr thelman: oh I missed the trash can

He hiccuped I looked down next to me seeing no trash can I better get out of here fast I don't want to get another thing throne at me

Mike: nice to see you Mr thelman but I got better get home now

I quickly rushed out avoiding the cans and I started to walk home
Should I tell my father about this or talk to Pete first that's not a safe environment for him to be living in it's a toxic environment I'm assuming his father drinks a lot due to the hundreds of cans on the ground but it does seem like his father stays out of his room since I only smell cigarettes and coffee in there I'm assuming I should talk to Pete. what happens if he says no my step dad can help him get out of that situation but I don't know how Pete will feel about it
