After the fight, Dallon watched the kids running around from the window he had been sitting at for hours. It was convenient for him, since it was in an alleyway.

He saw so many familiar faces come and go. He didn't know whether to smile or cry in rage.

When it started to rain and the sky grew dark was when Dallon noticed a group of older boys put boxes on top of Dave's box, preventing him from protecting Frank.

And yeah Frank really needed protecting because he was kinda being bullied.

Dallon couldn't make out what they were saying, but all he knew was they they picked Frank up and threw him out the exit that was five feet away from him.

He watched as Frank cried and tried to open the door.

"I've been waiting for this" Dallon whispered to himself

Frank turned to him "Mr.Weekes? What are you doing here? Daddy said you can't be here"

Dallon stood up and got closer to Frank "Well, I'm here to do a favor for your daddy"

Frank wiped his tears "What are you going to do?"

"Well, since your dad has made me feel so happy in the past I want to make him feel happy too, by giving him a little gift"

Frank gave a small smile "What's the gift?"

"You"

Paul and Ryan were making their way over to the arcade section, talking.

"I'm not kidding you, Paul, this is one of the best days of my life. Like I completely roasted Dallon. I wish you would've been there"

"I wanna roast Dallon..." Paul trailed off, looking at Dave's box, which had boxes stacked on top of it

"What is it?"

Paul pointed at the box "Why are there boxes on it?"

Ryan looked to where Paul was pointing, then rushed over to pull the boxes off. Paul followed.

"I don't know who would do this" Ryan said, taking the boxes off and stacking them on the floor

"Some little 9 year old brat, probably"

When the boxes were all on the floor, Dave sprung out and headed straight for the exit that Frank was thrown out of.

"They can't go outside" Ryan thought out loud, then followed the animatronic. Out of curiosity, Paul also followed.

The two noticed the animatronic breaking down in front of them, yet it was determined.

"Dave-"

It then collapsed, draping its arm over an object to its left.

Paul and Ryan hesitantly approached the object that laid next to Dave. But once Ryan saw the familiar body of his son, he rushed over.

Ryan chuckled and shook Frank's shoulder "Frank, you have to stop taking these games of hide and seek so seriously. You could catch a cold out here"

No response.

Ryan shook Frank's shoulder harder "Come on Frank, Dave's out here and now he's shut off and I'm going to have to get him repaired, can you just get up? Paul is out here too"

No response. Both of them started to have that creeping feeling.

"Frank!" Ryan yelled to no avail.

So Ryan turned his son around so Frank's head laid in his lap. That's when he noticed the blood draining from his heart and throat onto the cement.

"Frank?" Ryan whispered, his voice shaking.

Paul took a few steps back, palm over his mouth.

"FRANK!" Ryan screamed this time, now on the verge of tears "No! You can't be... You're my boy... You're eighth birthday is in a few weeks"

There was no response, and Ryan quickly entered his denial stage.

"Come on, Frank. You gotta wake up. This game of hide and seek is over" Ryan said, smiling, shaking his son's shoulder "I think you won the game, Frankie. Yeah. You won. We can go get you a prize. I know you say that you're getting too old for stuffed animals, so I can get you an action figure and some candy"

By this point Paul had run around to the front to call 911, and tears poured down Ryan's cheeks, yet he still smiled.

"I'll get you all the candy in the world. All you have to do is open your eyes. Heck, I'll even get you a bunch of ice cream. But not too much, because I don't want you getting sick"

The 911 operator told Paul that the ambulance and police would be there in 2 minutes.

"I can get you new clothes too. I was talking to Kurt earlier today about his band and said that he would be happy to give you a shirt. Free tickets too. Same with Pearl Jam. I know how much you love Pearl Jam, little dude" Ryan paused to sob for a few seconds, then continued to shake Frank's shoulder "I miss you. I miss talking to you. Just come on, wake up please. I'll give you anything just so I can hear your silly little jokes and your cute voice and funny laugh"

1 minute.

"Your impressions too. Your impression of me and Paul is funny. Paul's like your older brother. I bet he'll give you all the candy in the world too. He loves you"

Ryan heard the sirens and saw the flashing lights in the distance, but ignored them. Instead he focused on his son's sleeping face.

"And I'm not offering you all this because of the game of hide and seek, but because I love you. God, I love you so much. There's no limit to my love. Not even to the moon and back, because it's way more than that. You know how lucky I am to be your dad? I can't even believe that you, the amazing Frankie, is my son. I'm so goddamn lucky"

The police and medics started to approach, which made Ryan hold on to his son tight "You saved my life. You gave me a purpose to live. And that's just one of the reasons I love you" Ryan sighed and sobbed "Daddy has to go now, alright?"

And although Ryan said his goodbyes to his son, he still had to be held back and restrained when the medics took him and placed a blanket over Frank's whole body.

"He doesn't like to have the blanket over his face" Ryan cried, practically screaming, as he tried to break free from the people holding him back "He gets scared. It's hard to breath for him. He thinks there's monsters coming for him when he's under the covers. He's a little kid"

They placed him in the ambulance, then shut the doors.

"He's just a boy"

The ambulance started the drive away

"He's just a boy"
