Where once merry people must face the end of the world as it is promised to come, whether it be from the burning of fire or hailing of ice.
A total of fifty people around the globe were born with powers stemming from the elements of fire and ice. The day of these births is considered the harbinger day, as it was the announcement day of what was to come.
All of the mothers saw a vision as they went into labor. Not just a vision, a prophecy of promise. A promise of the end, and it comes from their children. Those who were born with such powers are called the blessed. But is it really a blessing, or is it more of a curse?
Well, it is both. For one of those children is destined to bring the end of the world. This child is called the ender. The only hope of survival is to discover who it is and put an end to them before they put an end to everyone else. The only ones capable of discovering and stopping the ender are the other blessed.
So what would you choose? To go up in flames or freeze over like ice?
