Tsuki was a happy child, while Taiyo on the other hand, was not. They had another sister, named Nisshoku.

Tsuki was the extroverted one, she made friends easily. Therefore, she had plenty of friends. Taiyo though, he was introverted and barely had any, if not any. 

He was jealous of Tsuki for that, therefore he took out anger on her for that. 

He was annoyed because he had no friends, but she did.

She was practically perfect, meanwhile he was left in the dark.

So what happened, was that Taiyo took out all his anger on Tsuki in the future. He called her weak, useless, all that is simular to that.

But then they both met Sanemi Shinazugawa. He was the Wind Hashira, and he told them about Sun and Moon breathing. 

When the two were old enough, he taught the two of how to use it.

They trained for weeks, training to master it.

And then when they were old enough, they finally got into the Demon Slayer Corps, meeting new allies.

And possible enemies.
