Himari is the daughter of Obanai and Mitsuri. She was raised amazingly, with the looks of her father, and the personality of her mother.

She was her mothers Tsuguko, therefore Mitsuri's sucessor, meaning to take her place.

When she found out her parents were dead, she was distraught. 

She was upset, and mourned over their deaths for days. She was depressed for some time, reasonably. 

She lost the people she loved most in her life. How was she not going to care?

That didn't stop her from training, though. She kept training, and training.

Eventually, she made it into the Demon Slayer corps, with a promise she made to herself.

She was going to continue her mothers legacy, and murder Muzan when she could.
