Chapter Five

After a few days of enjoying my time at Fairhampton University, it's time for classes to begin. The day I've been dreading has finally arrived.

I scroll through my phone to find my class schedule. I have no clue which classes I actually got enrolled in.

Economics 101: 9:00 A.M. – 10:20 A.M.

Biology 103: 12:00 P.M. – 1:35 P.M.

Thank God I only have two classes today. I dread biology, though, because I've always been terrible at science. Economics should be fun according to Seth.

It's 8:00 in the morning, so I should probably get up to go grab some breakfast and get ready for class. I walk into our kitchen just in time to see Hannah waving as she walks out the door.

I decide to grab a bowl of cereal and a coffee. Then, I put on some clothes and head out the door.

Once I find the right building, I head inside and take a seat in the middle.

"Hey, is this seat taken?" I hear a voice ask. I look up to see it's Seth, which makes me smile.

"Hey Seth," I nod, "This is your seat now, I guess."

"Thanks," he says as he takes a seat.

After an hour of the class, it's over. I think this class will be one of my favorites, mostly because I have a friend in it.

The rest of the day goes by quick, but I am so glad once I walk back in my dorm. Hannah isn't here yet, so I guess she still has class. I decide to head into my room and watch some Netflix.

I hear the door open, so I pause the show and walk into the living room.

I'm shocked when I see Hannah sitting with Alli. Well, I shouldn't be shocked since Hannah doesn't know.

"Hey Bella," Hannah says, "We're going to the football scrimmage tonight."

"Okay," I nod, "Have fun."

Hannah lets out a laugh and shakes her head. "No, you're coming with us."

"I guess I will," I laugh.

"Well, we better get ready," Alli says.

I go into my bedroom to get ready. I decide to wear a pair of black running shorts and a Fairhampton University shirt. I do some light makeup since this will be one of my first public outings here. Once I get ready, I go back into the living room to meet up with Hannah and Alli.

A little while later we arrive at the football field. We find seats near the benches, which is not surprising.

Hannah and Alli cheer the whole time, while I just look around the field.

I seem to find myself looking at Tate constantly, which is not shocking.

"Bella," Hannah says, "Are you staring at Tate?"

"Um," I let out a little laugh, "I didn't mean to."

"He's attractive, I get it." Hannah says.

I decide to try and stop staring at Tate, so I look at Alli's gaze. Of course, she's watching Luke's every move. Hannah is oblivious to this, though. I need to tell her.

Once the scrimmage is over, most everybody clears out. We wait for the players, so Hannah can see her boyfriend. I bet Alli is excited too.

Luke runs up to Hannah and gives her a few kisses. Tate follows behind him, and I notice him smirking at me.

"Bella," he comes closer, "Let's go."

"What?" I laugh a little.

"Me, you. We're going somewhere."

"Um, where are we going? I don't even know you, Tate."

Hannah notices our conversation and walks over to us. "Bella, I'm going home with Luke, and Alli is going to another friend's house. Will you be okay with Tate?"

"She's fine," Tate answers for me.

Hannah rolls her eyes and walks off. Now, it's just Tate and I left alone.

"Come on, Bella," he pleads, "I need to ask you some questions."
