Transparency

Once everyone was fully awake and settled we started breakfast as a family.

I sat pushing my eggs around on the plate, I knew I wouldn't be able to look anyone in the eyes or enjoy my vacation unless I came clean unless I addressed the elephant in the room.

"OK guys I have something I want to say and I know that now is a better time than ever to say it because you guys will start going back to your regular lives and I want to share this once before you leave because you guys are the most important people in my life,

For the past five months, I've been living with a practical stranger, things started rocky but then we started spending time with each other, getting to know each other better, helping out each other whenever and wherever we can, and yeah...we ...fell in love, I know its a bit early and

But seriously he means a lot to me and his actions always show me how much he cares, he's helped me open my business, he is the reason i have somewhere to sleep at night, and he has his drivers take me anywhere I want to go and, he's never given me a reason not to trust him plus I've met his family and I trust them, they treat me as one of their own,

I know you guys have never met him and usually, we bring people around our family to see how they all mesh but- things don't always go according to plan and I w- he- ummm- he's asked me to MARRY HIM, partially because again we really care about each other but mainly because he wants to help me with my residency in the US

Before you even say anything i also just want to say this is not an Andrew situation again, this is very different, I can't even explain it but trust me I'm never letting anyone treat me that way again, I haven't given him an answer well sort of....I told him no but I am thinking about changing my answer

My YES isn't coming from a place of yay, i get to stay in the US, its coming from more of a .. I feel like this is right. I know in my heart this is right and I care about him and just seeing how he has arranged for all of you guys to be here knowing how your schedules are is just confirmation that he will do whatever it takes to make me happy

Having my dad and Tam against this and my mom iffy was bad enough, I need Kev to support me on this, he is really over protective and only ever had a connection with Andrew as far as my boyfriends go - not that I've had many but after how everything turned out, I know he's doesn't think this is a good idea already..

After breakfast, we spent the day on the beach as a family, Jet ski, beach volleyball, sighting, floaties and our kind of fun. It was a Day well spent.
