Annie's POV

Hindi ko alam kung paano ako nakapasok sa ospital kahit masakit yung gitna ko. Hindi ko alam kung paano haharapin si Damiel dahil sa nangyari sa amin. Hindi ko pa rin sigurado kung ano yung nararamdaman ko sa kanya.

Akala ko kung noong una, makakalimutan ko kaagad yung muntik na kaming magsex pero ngayon nangyari nang ilang beses. Napabuga nalang ako ng hangin.

"Annie, ayos ka lang?" Tanong ni Rona. Isa sa mga kasama ko ngayon sa morning shift.

"Ha?"

"Your spacing out dear. But, your glowing."

Namula ako sa sinabi nito. "Hehe. Ikaw talaga."

Buong araw akong lutang buti nalang wala akong pasyente masyado. Papalabas na ako ng hospital, may batang tumakbo sa harap ko at nag-abot ng bouquet of roses. May sumunod namang bata din at nagbigay ng chocolates. Wala ng Valentine's pero parang ganun ang datingan eh.

Mas dumami pa ang bata at may dala-dala pa silang letters. Isa-isa nilang pinakita ang mga ito habang nakalinya sila. Nabuo ang salitang "W.I.L.L Y.O.U. B.E M.Y. G.I.R.L"

Mula sa likuran ng mga bata, lumabas si Damiel. Nakangiti itong tumingin sa akin. Madami na rin ang mga tao sa nanonood. Hindi ako handa dito.

"I know I didn't formally court you but if you said yes or no now, I will still pursue you everyday. Annie Benedicto, will you be my girl?"

I didn't expect this thing will happen to me. Noon palang, I have this unexplained feelings to him. Akala ko awa ko lang yun sa situation niya pero hindi. Mahal ko talaga siya.
I genuinely smile to him before I said the word he wanted to hear.
"It's a YES!" Napanganga pa siya. Gulat na gulat ang expression nito. Gusto ko ng matawa pero I don't want to ruin his moment.

"Oh my God! Did you hear it?! She said yes. I love you Annie." Agad niya akong nilapitan at walang pag-aalinlangan hinalikan ako sa harap ng marami. I can hear the cheering of the crowd. Ilang saglit, pinutol nito ang halikan namin. He is still smiling.

"Thank you so much Annie. I promise you, I will show my love to you everyday. Mahal na Mahal kita Annie."

"Mahal din kita."
He burst into tears. Bakit ba siya naiiyak? I cup his face. "Why?"

"It's just a tears of joy. You complete me Annie. You heal me of your love. I can't believe it. I thought I lost you."

"Nandito lang ako palagi Damiel."

Muli ako nitong hinalikan. Ngayon sumasabay na ako. Pinagdikit namin ang noo at ngumiti sa isa't-isa.

Hindi pa tapos ang pakulo niya dahil pumunta kami sa isang restaurant. Walang tao doon bukod sa waiter at manager. Ang ganda din ng set up. Pinaghandaan niya talaga. I smiled once again. I can't believe this man made me feel special.

Damiel, the first time I met him he was so devastated. Nagdalawang-isip pa ako dahil sa takot ko sa kanya. Pinipilit ako ng kapatid niya which is my bestfriend. May mga panahon na mabait siya sa akin pero may time din na hindi. Hinabaan ko ang pasensya sa kanya. I didn't realize that one day, I will fall for him.

Natakot ako magmula noon na baka sa huli ako ang mawasak. When my dad died, I use that to get away from him because my mom blame me for my decisions. Hindi ko magamit ang profession kay Dad.

After a year, my mom forgive me. She even say sorry to me. We cried for 2 hours I think. I also say sorry.
I came back to reality when Damiel talk to me."You okay?"

"Yeah. I just remembered so many things that happened to me."

"Sorry. If I didn't have the courage to help you that time."

"It's okay. We need to focus on the future."

Nilapag ng waiter ang pagkain namin. We even had the red wine. Sobrang romantic ng datingan.
Hindi pa nga siya tapos sa mga surprises niya dahil tumugtog ang isang lalaki ng violin. The song is so beautiful in the ears.

"May I have this dance, my lady?"

"Sige na nga." I reach for his hand and we dance at the rhythm of the music. We didn't utter any words just our breathing and heartbeat can be heard. After that romantic dance, we made love at his place. The house he bought for us.

He didn't want to rush things on me. Marriage can wait. What is the most important that we love each other and that's enough for now.
