the beginning

   I'm Maeve Astor, I live in a world where when you are sixteen, you get to choose your entire life. Hope you don't screw it up. Now, a more in-depth description. There are five fractions Erudite, Candor, Amity, Dauntless, and Abnegation. These fractions are where you work, live, and even make a family. Erudites are smartasses. Erudites are normally scientists and teachers and all of the other stuff no one likes. Candor are people who love the truth, like seriously they never lie. Candors are normally lawyers, fun fact I live in Candor. Amity are too nice to be true. Amity farms the land and makes food. Dauntless are free spirited. Dauntless are army people and protect everyone. Abnegation are very selfless. Abnegation do all the charities.

   When you are sixteen, you get to choose if you want to stay in your fraction or change into a different one. The people who don't get into any fraction are called fractionless they don't have a home or food. We don't have a king or queen. We have a board of people we're there is a president persay, Abnegation have been the president for a long time. Each leader of each fraction can give advice, but it's up to Abnegation if they want to take it.

   Now, enough talk about that, let's talk about me. I'm sixteen, and you know what that means. I get to choose which fraction I want to be in. I never really thought of what fraction I wanted to be in. I just tried to get on with my life. But today, all of the sixteen year olds go to the school. And we go into the simulation that tells us which fraction we should be in. So that leaves us to now.
