after a few days of not seeing JJ, I started picking up more shifts at the wreck to keep my mind off of it. I am starting to get worried about him, JJ has gone MIA before but this time it feels different.
Kie came in for her shift but not alone, following behind her was John B and Pope. I felt my heart sunk a little when I saw JJ wasn't with them. A little part of me hoped he would be with them.
K- hey bestie!
R- hi Kie, what can I get you two? the usual or something different this time?
J- just my regular fish sticks
P- oo! throw in some salty fries with that!
I nodded turning back to the window telling the cook what they wanted before turning back to them as I noticed Kie had a serious expression on
R- what's up girly? what's on your mind?
K- I'm just getting worried about JJ
R- yeah me too, he's usually back by now
J- aw you guys are worried about your boyfriend
K- gross no John B
I heard the bell behind me and grabbed their order handing it to them as they immediately scarfed it down. they waited for our shift to finish before we started to walk to Kie's where we were supposed to get ready for Midsummers but halfway there, I realized I had forgotten my dress at John B's so I told them I would meet them there before I ran to John B's.
I walked inside and was about to enter the spare bedroom to grab my dress when I heard a loud thud followed with some laughter out back. A little confused and scared but I still went back to check it out, I opened the door and walked outside only to see a hot tub surrounding by these colorful lights with JJ sitting in it holding a glass.
R- JJ, what the actual hell?!
JJ- what
R- where the hell have you been and where did you get this hot tub?!
JJ- I bought it for my friends no screw that! I bought it for my family!
he stood up but I'm guessing his foot had slipped somehow and he almost fell so I had ran to him in case he almost fell but he didn't instead he pulled me into the hot tub. being this close to him I can smell the alcohol radiating off him
R- JJ you're drunk
JJ-noo I only had a couplee
R- JJ, I have been worrying about you sick. you went MIA
I felt the salty tears fall from my eyes hitting the water beneath us, I watched his hand come up to my face and softly wipe away the tears
JJ- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you worry this much. I just needed time to clear my head
R- I understand that but i-
I was cut off by his lips connecting to mine, I pulled my head back giving a little space between us as I tried to look at his face
R- JJ, I don't think-
JJ- please I need this. I missed you
he kissed me once more but this time I didn't place away instead the kiss gotten deeper. I wrapped my arms around him not breaking the kiss as his arms wrap around my waist, I could feel him lower his hands from the bottom of my back to my ass. we pull away looking at each other, we looked at each other and I knew at that very moment I loved him. JJ removed his hands from my butt to my hand and guides me out of the hot tub and into John B's spare bedroom. (Smut starts here) we get in there the spare bedroom and jj walks us to the bed laying me down on my back while my knees are up, JJ slowly gets on top of me pressing his thigh between my legs to open them up. he slowly starts to lean his body down which gives me access to place my hands on his face pulling him in for another sweet kiss. JJ has his left hand on the bed by my head and his right hand placed on my thigh pulling it up.
I remove my hands from his face and reach for the hem of his shirt slowly pulling it up and over his head until it was completely off. I looked down at his toned chest seeing the bruises that luke had left, I carefully take my right hand and glide it down his chest. JJ removes his right hand from my thigh an removes my hand from his chest and places it back on his face causing me to look at him
JJ- I'm okay
his voice sounded calm and sincere; I felt this overwhelming feeling of comfort knowing that he is generally okay. JJ slowly starts to remove each piece of clothes throwing them somewhere in lightly dimmed room. JJ and I than started to make actually love, the kind of love you only see in fairytales and stories. it was not like the stories you would hear around the island. it was slow, intimate, gentle, sex. after we finished, I slowly started to get ready for midsummers. I was about to put on my dress when JJ grabbed it smiling at me
JJ- let me help you
I smiled giving him a small nod.

JJ pulls the dress over my head until it touches the floor, he than spins me around until he was facing the back of my dress. he then processed to lace up the back. after he was done tying it, he then looked into the mirror that was in front of us before placing a soft but tender kiss on my neck. JJ turned me around till I was facing him before he kissed me, as we pull away we both smile and stared into each other's eyes.
