We all sat in history class again, i was taking notes and ignoring JJ who was tapping my shoulder before we walked Pope get pulled out of class making us all look at each other confused. Once school was over, we all stood outside the Chateau while JJ was questioning Pope on why he was pulled out of class when he explains it all to us confusing me, but I chose just to act like I understood. we than got into the topic of how we would help clear John B's name when Pope gives a really good idea. We all piled into the car once again before Kie started to drive to the location Pope gave, we sat in there as Pope jogged to gavin's car planted his phone there before running back to us. we waited till Gavin had gotten into his care before we called him, Kie spoke to him

G- hello who is this?

K- we know what you did Gavin.

G- excuse me? who is this?

K- we know you are working with Ward and helping hide the evidence. if you don't confess, we will expose the plan.

Kie quickly hung up making us look at Gavin who seemed to be in a panic as he started to make another phone call, to our luck he called ward. he went into a frenzy explaining how someone knows he kept the gun that killed the sheriff and how he doesn't know if he can keep doing this before Ward makes a plan with him to meet at a certain location before the call ends

JJ- what now?

R- looks like we have to go follow mr. Gavin

Kie started the car again, starting to drive off to where Ward and Gavin where meeting. We saw his car and parked ours down the corner. we all got out and looked around trying to find a way to get to them

P- there's a fence, this way

we followed him as we jumped this fence ignoring the fact, we are in someone's back yard before running to the other side looking over it seeing them talking. Pope grabs out the recorder and started recording them as we watch the fight get heated. Ward ends up pulling a gun out and shooting Gavin before dropping the gun in the sewer drain causing me to gasp quietly 

K- you murder!!!

JJ quickly grabbed her arm as we all had to scurry back causing Pope to drop the recorder breaking it as we took off running back to the car

JJ- great are only sense of evidence is gone!

R- it's fine we can-

K- it's Pope's fault he was the one holding it!

P- my fault?! if you didn't yell murder, we wouldn't have to rush off!

R- okay, pointing blame won't fix what happened!

everything went quiet for a moment before JJ spoke up

JJ- we need that gun

as much as I hate guns, I still nodded with everyone else as we agreed taht the next step was the grab that gun. which it what we did the next day, we got to the sewer area and looked into it sighing

JJ- I won't fit

P- same so one of the girls will-

I cut him off talking 

R- I will do it

they all looked at me clearly a little shocked by what I had said making me chuckle

JJ- are you sure? you don't have to do this

R- JJ I will be fine

they all finally gave in so JJ and Pope removed the cover allowing me to climb down mentally gagging as my body submerged into the grey water. I looked around for the gun feeling around for it as I tried to keep my face from getting touched

R- I can't see anything!

I kept looking slowly reaching more down but as my hand grabbed what we were looking for the water started to rise. I stuck the gun in my pants as I grabbed the ladder

R- guys! the water!

I can see JJ start to panic as they try to lift the cover that's blocking the drain with the help of JJ and Kie as I climb to ladder hoping to stay above water. but luck wasn't in my favor as the water started to cover my neck and soon my face, I was slowly drowning until I felt someone grab my arms pulling me out as I coughed up the water

P- holy shit that was insane

K- please tell me you are okay?

I was about to answer when JJ grabbed my face making me look at him

JJ- you scared the living shit out of me, I thought i was about to lose you

R- again you mean

I let out a soft chuckle as he shook his head standing, I reached into my pant pulling out the gun as they all had excitement grow on their faces

R- this isn't what we were looking for is it?

they all start to cheer in excitement as I stood up before they hugged me. we quickly ran to the car as Kie started to drive to the station so we could give the gun to Shoupe but as we were trying to explain it to him, he just kicked us out like he information was pointless. we all stormed out to the car in frustration as JJ punched the wall making me quickly grab his hand

R- JJ relax, it's fine! we don't need his help

P- yeah, we can figure this one out on our own

K- for John B and Sarah

JJ sighed putting his head on my shoulder as I rubbed my thumb over his redden knuckles

JJ- you smell like shit

R- that's because I just swam in grey water

we all laughed at that which honestly felt really nice to do, I can't remember the last time we all just had a good moment with each other with no drama or issues. guess that's just the pogue life
