we all head back to John B's so I could shower since I quite literally smelled like shit. After I had showered and gotten dressed again, I walked to the living room where the rest of the pogues were standing holding this letter

R- what's that?

P- it's the letter that guy gave me

JJ- well open it kind sir

Pope rolls his eyes before he opens the letter starting to read it aloud to us which it pretty much stated this woman had a way to prove John B's innocence and she wants Pope to come to Charleson to discuss it further

R- this quite literally seems like a death trap

K- I agree, I don't trust it

JJ- do you guys not realize this is the closest thing we could probably get to helping John B? if this women really has a way to prove his innocence I say we take the chance

we all looked at each other for a moment I let out a sigh

R- fine, but you aren't going alone. we do this together you got that

he nodded before we all walked back to the car, Kie said she needed to head home to grab some thing before we took off so that's where we went. we stood outside the car while she went inside to deal with her parents, so I just leaned against the car and waited. not to long after she went inside, she came outside walking to the car as her mom yelled for her to not come back before we all piled back into the car but not before JJ said "have a good day" to her parents making us roll our eyes before they started to drive once more.

when we get to the address, Pope was the only one who was supposed to go inside so we wait for him out here yelling him if he needs help yell and we will come. I sat in the passenger seat playing with my shorts as JJ started a very weird conversation with Kie

JJ- so what's going on with you and Poe?

K- nothing, why?

JJ- I don't know you two just been acting a bit weird almost like you guys screwed or something

I turned my head to Kie as she didn't deny it or anything making JJ chuckle

JJ- so is he like a freak yk? since he's pope?

K- why are you asking that?

JJ- I don't know just spit balling

K- well stop spit balling

as she turned her head to look out the window, we see Pope running outside with a guy chasing after him. we all quickly get out of the car running to pope as fast as we can, JJ grabs his arm and helps him up before we all take off running realizing there is no way we can take this man without getting tased. we all start running down the streets of Charleston when we run in front of this bike thing stopping only to see who was the one driving it, John B and Sarah.

JJ- holy shit

K- didn't see this coming

we are all in shock as we jump onto the back of their vechlie thing once we gave them a brief explanation on what the hell just happened before they start driving again. we all get back to this random place that John B knew about, and it was already dark out, so John B started a fire so I stand next to JJ as we all just catch up and talk 

J- guys did you hear that?

we all look at him confused as we didn't hear a single thing he heard

JJ- what the chicken coop ?

J- no it sounded like a car door

JJ started making chicken noises before John B covered his mouth before we all heard soft footsteps. we all quickly hurried to climb into the tree behind us as we saw Rafe and Berry walked over before one goes inside and the other looks around under us. I was sitting in front of JJ on the tree as we had his head pressed against my back clearly just as nervous as I was.
