*Note to the reader:
I know what you're probably thinking...
"Why didn't you publish before this special that you promised us?"
The answer is that I was very busy to traslate all the text from Spanish to English, even if I use a traslator.
I hope you enjoy this chapter, it will be longer because I want to give it a more open ending so that you have more opportunities to give your opinions and draw your own conclusions. I also want to clarify that there is going to be a bit of foul language and some "explicit" parts that may hurt some people's sensibilities.

- Several of the things that will be seen are based on the game 'SCP - Containment Breach' (which means spoilers) and the interviews of the mentioned SCPs, which can be found on Youtube in their original language, English, or subtitled by fans. . -
As always, I thank you for everything.
Enjoy!

No less than four months had passed since the 'new reform' in the containment of SCPs 035 and 049, everything was going well, even many workers had reported in the reports that they had a better temperament than when they were separated. Both had said in their interviews that they felt too lonely and not having contact with the outside world or even anyone other than their caregivers was wearing them down.
It was something difficult to believe for many, especially for the psychologists and interviewers who usually saw them, since, for his part, 049 always stated that he was not contained or used for experiments, but rather was having a simple lodging , receiving help with his cure and that at any time he could escape if he wished. They have always asked him indirect questions related to the possessive mask. According to many of the interviewers and guards, he usually affirms that in the past he was "harassed", over time he had gotten used to having him around, since he was the only one who believed about the existence of that disease, the pestilence, besides of his friend of more than seven hundred years ago, Jolanda* - she being the one who encouraged him to continue - . Unlike her, he agreed with her simply to let him be by her side.

(*It is not guaranteed by the creators of the game, but it is in the video of the interview. This character would play a very important role in the life of 049, being she who also had the ability to see the pestilence, even better developed than this Unfortunately for him, he lost his only company in what appeared to be an accident in which he disappeared without a trace. Which forced him to leave.)

On the other hand, 035 is always somewhat apathetic in his interviews, showing that he wants to avoid them at all costs, in a discreet manner. He has tried to manipulate the staff by making jokes, filling their answers with riddles and puns and always doing his best to interact with more people, which is a bit strange to hear from him but it seems that the loneliness of his cell affects him more than usual. what it seems He usually acts animated so that everyone lowers their guard and out of nowhere having outbursts of anger.
Unfortunately, this trick no longer works as it used to, many of the most qualified investigators are in charge of it and they are not so easy to fool.

Something that scientists have also noticed is that he sees humanity as "a source of entertainment" and that he is completely unpleasant when it comes to answering questions related to other SCPs, a clear example of a joke for him, is SCP-343 , many times disparaging him for calling himself "God", since he is very fond of and even a believer in Greek mythology. Although he behaves like a rebellious teenager, unlike 343, he considers 049 a great friend and partner, even joking that they were lovers in one of the interviews, just to see the reactions of others.

A small detail, but no less relevant, that did leave researchers and caregivers shocked, was listening to the story of SCP-035. He said that he met 049 when he used to be human and the only one able to put it on his face without suffering the side effects, unfortunately he doesn't remember his real name but he was kind of funny. He also relates that they used to lead a bohemian life, always moving and leaving everything behind, but something changed when performing in theaters in Italy, the bubonic plague arrived, which would devastate Europe and, naturally, 049 would put on the usual mask of a doctor of that time and the least expected day he would suffer from an accident that would disfigure him and leave him as we know him. It amused those present that he was jealous of the fact that the plague doctor had been covering his face with something else - the classic beaked mask of the doctors of that time - instead of using it on him, referring to this act with the phrase "then he picked up that ridiculous thing". He tried to help him in various ways, in the way of necromancy for example, but eventually, their paths would diverge until they were contained by the foundation and he didn't want to give too many details about that. He only said that he had refused to accept this advantage that was being offered to him.
