Chapter twenty one

No point of veiw ~ The next morning everyone woke and were seated at the breakfast table. The only ones who weren't present yet were Kaia and the three sand siblings. The people who went on the missions had come back when everyone awoke.

"How was the mission"Nagato asked "it went great like always how was everything here"Kurama asked "same old same old"Neji answered "except there was an annoying knocking outside our door last night. We just ignored it until it went away"Madara said

"It was probably Kaia she came knocking on our door last night"Obito said "you too"Itachi said "yeah she wanted to sleep in my room last night"Obito said "same here"Itachi said "and you two idiots didn't let her"Kakuzu growled

"Why would we"Obito asked "I was preoccupied last night"Itachi said "probably busy shoving your dick up deidara's ass"Sasori said making both blush "you fucking idiots Kaia probably had a fucking nightmare which is why she came knocking on your doors"Kisame said

"And you fucking turned her down"Hidan said "she didn't say why she wanted to sleep in our room's. If she would've said why we would've let her come in"Itachi and Obito said "you should know by know that Kaia isn't one to open up so easily. And when she decides to and you turn her down she is going become even more closed off"Hidan said

"Do any of you know where she is"Kakuzu asked "no"Sakura said "why didn't she come to us we could've helped her"Konan said "true she would've but your pregnant and knows that you and Nagato will be fired from preparing for your babies arrival in the next coming months"Kisame explains

"After Madara, Itachi, and Obito turned her down. The next people other then Konan and Nagato she would've went to would be Kurama and Shisui but they were out on a mission"Kakuzu said "why didn't she come to the rest of us then"Hinata asked

"Kaia only goes to those who she believes will give her a sense of security and protect her and who also give her an aura of full protection. Madara, Itachi and Obito broke that. As did Deidara, Kakashi, Zetsu, and Yahkio as well"Hidan explains

"Us too"Yahkio asked confused "yes you too because you and Zetsu were in the room with Madara and choose not to open the door. Kakashi probably said something to Kaia as well as Obito. While deidara was in the room with Itachi as well"Hidan said

"So what trust and likeness Kaia had for me is now gone"Deidara asked "yes that is correct and she probably won't acknowledge you or your presence anymore"Kakuzu said "that's going mess up our team formation nice going jackass"Sasori said annoyed as deidara looked guilty.

The entire room became tense. They didn't even notice two of the three sand siblings coming down. And they probably would've have noticed them if it wasn't for temari who called out happily.

"Hinata, Hanabi, Konan-Chan, Sakura and Shukaku look at these adorable pictures I took of Gaara and Kaia cuddling"Temari said happily holding a camera in her hands. The five people she called out to snapped out of their trance and went to look at the camera.

"Aww they look so cute together"Hanabi said "Kaia looks happy and content"Hinata said "looks like Gaara is getting some much needed sleep"Shukaku said "I don't think they will be getting up anytime soon"Sakura said

"I guess Kaia found someone other then Hidan, Kisame and Kakuzu to help her with her nightmares when they aren't here"Konan said "but what you did nii-San was honestly messed up. I expected better from all you especially since you know what it's like to deal with nightmares. Especially you nii-San"Sasuke said shaking his head in disappointment.

The seven men looked remorseful. But Obito, Itachi and Madara were feeling the worst out of all of them because they could feel the familial bond they have with Kaia become even thinner then it already was. And they knew that they had messed up big time. And that there was no way to change what they had done. And that Kaia was going to become even more closed off they she already was to them. And it was all their fault.
