The next morning in the Valley of Peace, the sun began to rise and the masters was sound asleep within the Jade Palace. As the sun shined its light upon the small village, the gong had finally sounded, the team of masters awaking from its loud sounding and getting ready for not only a day of training, but a day of surprises. Once the masters had finished freshening up, they headed out they're rooms and quickly to the kitchen for breakfast, Tai was of course was always the first one to wake up for the morning. But when he looked back at everyone he noticed that Ming wasn't there. Confused and a bit concerned, he went back to the corridors and went to her room, carefully sliding in the door and gasping from the sight of her being...gone. Before snapping in a panic he was interrupted by his master who was standing behind him. "I see that you've noticed Ming's absence." He spoke, Tai snarled a bit, as if he was already annoyed just by the presence of the red panda before him. "Where IS she?" He asked with impatience and worry as he glared at his master. Shifu only sighed as he looked back at the brute in front of him. "She's in the kitchen with a guest." He softly answered, "A guest???" Tai thought deeply as he looked confused at the elder, Shifu then walked past the snow leopard and led him to the kitchen, Tai heard Ming talking with the rest of the group as they sounded rather fond of another's presence in the room, the smell of bean buns intoxicating his nostrils. Shifu then stopped and pointed his staff to the unrecognizable individual in the room, when Tai's eyes caught the feline he gasped in shock but also disbelief. "Soooo...what's your name? You haven't told us it ever since you came here!" Asked Crane as the others nodded for an answer. "Oh! Well, my name is Hai Shui. I am a training student within my home back across China...my father, "Master Xiao", told me that he's known of this place and has met your own master as well! I felt very intrigued to learn his ways of Kung Fu, so I came to visit and to train to become a Kung Fu WARRIOR!" Hai finished with his fist in the air with a huge smile of confidence on his face, the others looking even more interested in his character. "So you're a white tiger? That's so rare! We've never seen a white tiger before! I heard that they are BEAUTIFUL creatures..." said Ming as she smiled with a cup of tea in one paw and a plate in the other on the table. "Yes! And I've never seen a black jaguar before, I heard that they too are such gorgeous creatur-" and before Hai could finish, a loud "AHEM." echoed through the room, everyone quieted down and looked at the entrance seeing a rather annoyed and irritated Tai Lung, his burning eyes of daggers narrowed at the other bigger feline in the room. Hai only gasped at the sight of the snow leopard. "Oh! You must be Master Tai Lung! I've heard so much of you! I'm Hai, Hai Shui!" He spoke as he made his way to Tai, bowing as a sign of hello and welcoming in front of him, Tai's rather rude gaze was soothed as he gazed at Ming who was looking at him with a hint of...sadness, as if her face was telling him to be nicer to the palace's new guest. Tai only sighed and Ming smiled as she saw him bow back and stand back upright as the other male did so. "Yes, I am Master Tai Lung. It is...a rather pleasant surprise seeing another student in this place...odd." Said Tai as he eyed the other one in front of him with a lifted brow as his eyes were lazy. "Yes, odd indeed. I asked my father to train at the Jade Palace and he greatly agreed. Since he knew so MUCH about this place I had to come and learn of its ways myself." Replied Hai as Shifu smiled at the two communicating rather calmly on Tai's part of the conversation. "BUT...it'll take a lot of BONE breaking and SWEAT falling and...ENDLESS training to reach up to a master's level." Tai said as his face slowly grew closer to Hai's with a rather big smirk on his face as he held his paws behind his back, as if he as trying to tower over the other student in a authoritative sort of way. Ming and the others looked at each other in confusion to Tai's behavior but was then alerted by Shifu cutting himself in. "But Hai, I sense that you will do greatly. Like Tai Lung you seem to be properly fit and strong enough to handle such training. It won't be easy I will say...but since you are a student of an old friend, you have my full permission to become my newest student." he finished with a sincere smile on his face as the others gasped in shock from the idea, especially the snow leopard next to him who's eye was twitched and his face covered in shock. "Really...?" Asked Hai with hope in his eyes to Shifu's answer, the elder simply nodding his head to the tiger and Tai's jaw dropping. "YES! Thank you! I WON'T fail you Shif- I mean, Master Shifu ." Hai said as he bowed on a knee before the red panda, a pleased smile growing on his face. Everyone then smiled and greatly agreed with the idea of a new student, especially Ming. She smiled and clapped as she hopped out her seat with excitement, something that the others had rarely seen from her quiet and isolated nature. "Nice having you on the team buddy! Your gonna do GREAT!" Said Po as he was doing tricks with the bean buns and chomping on one after another, the others snickering from his acts. "Hopefully he'll be able to shape up tho, it IS his first day." Ti said as she crossed her arms and smirked at the other tiger, Viper then joined in the conversation. "He MUST know some skills so far, he's the son of a famous kung fu master across China!" She said as Monkey added himself in as well. "Surely, but who knows! He's new, showing him the basics might just help him get the hang of what we do already." He finished. Mantis agreed as he hopped off Monkey's shoulder onto Hai's, him looking intrigued at the bug. "Welcome bud, you are gonna LOVE this place...but if you try to step it up a notch, I can show ya the proper basics of, TRANQUILITY." Spoke Mantis as he dramatically zoomed in on Hai's face, and slowly backed away waving his claws as if in a fighting stance. "Oh hush Mantis! Don't scare him..." Viper scolded as the others snickered, even Mantis. "Alright alright students...it is time for our training. Outside, now please." Shifu finally spoke as the others did as they was told and quickly cleaned up they're breakfast, heading straight out the doors for training. Ming of course was last to go out but stopped when she realized that Tai wasn't moving a single muscle from where he stood. She turned and went back to him, landing a paw gently on his shoulder. "Tai Lung??? Are...you ok?" Asked Ming with worry but was greeted with him lifting up his head as he inhaled a deep and long breath and simply breathing out, him looking at her with a smile but with a sense of disappointment behind it. "I'm fine, Ming. Don't worry yourself...I'm Tai Lung! The master of everything in kung fu...what can I NOT do?" Tai asked as he chuckled, Ming not doing the same. "But I am a bit worried...when Hai got on the team, you seemed unhinged, like you was going to snap apart...basically when Hai was introduced to you in general you acted...off." She said as she looked nervously back at the male, he only chuckled harshly and put his paws on her shoulders. "Unhinged? I'm FINE Ming...there's nothing wrong with me. Remember, the old me is long gone now that I've found peace...not only in myself..but in you too. Besides, even if I WAS angry, it must be from me not being used to new students near my position as the most advanced in this team of kung fu warriors." Tai said as he rolled his eyes with a smirk and looked back at her, giving Ming a reassuring smile. Ming felt a bit uneasy with Tai's atmosphere but shrugged it off blaming her anxiety as she smiled back at him. "Ok..." she softly replied as she hugged him and quickly went out the doors to the others outside. "New STUDENT?! That's...that's impossible! Those idiots easily accepted HIM! Yet still holds grudges against me....even Ming is off around me. UGH!!!" Tai scowled mentally before he grunted and went out the doors to the rest for training.
